Finally, the part 5 was out! The best thing about SwellPro's drones is that, they are not letting the classic Phantom or X-shaped body drones die and they make disaster proof drones! Its a very good thing that they are making such waterproof drones with a 3 axis gimbal camera that can turn right or left, regardless of the drone yaw! It has Waypoints, Follow me, Boat mode, flip in the water mode, 5 KM transmission distance, 2 KG payload capacity, intelligent precise RTH and a 30 min flight battery with a 4K- 3 axis gimbal camera. I also like those super strong propellers made of Carbon Fiber! They can destroy some buildings while they are spinning, lol. Some lacking features are- a longer flight time, obstacle avoidance- which should be there in the new version and a longer transmission distance. Overall, it is a very good drone if one is flying it in open areas like Beaches and open grounds and, with all the accessories it still costs 2,000 dollars less than the Mavic 3 Cine!

Just a thought. Not sure if it's ever been suggested but maybe add a can of compressed air to your toolkit. It would be for blowing off the debris or snow off the drones when finished.

No one should EVER say you aren't committed! lol This qualifies as taking one for the team for sure. This drone is pricey but well worth it if you have a practical purpose for owning one. It serves it's waterproof purpose well and seems like a fantastic drone. How is the range and flight time? Great video Steve. I hope you thawed out and warmed up and had some hot tea!

Range is designed for a boat over water so good but not amazing great. Flight time, for weight, is very good.

OMG, OMG, OMG When I grow up that is going to be me. LOL Yup I'm going to be all over that like stink on a skunk. I'm getting my drone feet under me with the lil DJI SE ... The SE is a great first drone ...I'm finding out what bells and whistles I want and need next. I love the idea of it being water/snow proof .... Captain Drone ... do the props ice-up after a bit? I know it would depend on the conditions of the snow and temperature. If that is the case perhaps a very thin layer of spray Pam along the leading edges of the props may help. Airports use a type of antifreeze/alcohol to prevent icing along the wing edges.
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
I've never had issues with ice on props on any drone. I think it would have to be humid or something for that to occur.
