testing them too see what they look like in water probably would have been a good test

The bungee is not the anchor point… the bungee is to keep the tube on the bottom portion. There is a normal anchor point. I disconnect the tube during transport so it does not break and the bungee goes around the pump to keep the tube attached to the decoy when not affixed to the base.

Lucky duck is far superior. Sold all my Higdon motion decoys two seasons ago and bought all Lucky Duck. Higdon has changed their designs so many different times cause they are faulty (customer service is also a joke). This Higdon pulsator has to be at least the 5th generation they have released. Rodger’s sells the lucky duck in a two pack that will get as low as 189 if you watch for it. Parts are cheap for the lucky duck if you don’t want to go through customer service. The Higdon can be a pain to work on once they break. I will give it to Higdon that the magnet charging port is smart, hopefully it’ll last. Either way with both products, if you’re hunting hard, will break. Both are made out of plastic and are not built to last. I chose Lucky Duck after two bad seasons with the Higdon decoys and haven’t looked back.

I had the OG higdon pulsator, actually 2. both are now broken. the tube broke off the bilge pump on one and the entire bottom section broke off the other. Don't like the design, can use it in super shallow water, and no remote to turn off. my next ones will be LD's
