Zeus cheating on Hera is practically his love language. He's done it more times than Pythagorus can count

The last of five songs comes today but it's audio only, you would have to wait for animatics. Also livestream of official animatics was supposed to be today but it go cancelled and delayed for today.

Always so fun so see someone new put the pieces together! Thanks for the reaction! Edit: I'm assuming you've already looked this up, but Zeus' voice is the amazingly talented Luke Holt.

9:11 I'll always feel a little uncomfortable when people be happy with the action taken with the sirens, missing the point that he could have killed them without the cruelty... Yeah, definitely not spare, but he took the cruelest way possible. Even if you believe that he want eat the tails (I don't believe in that), he could kill them fast and then cut the tails). Yeah, they are monsters that eat men, like we are monsters to every animal that we eat... Why not just kill them faster? I feel strange when people miss that the whole point of that song is show that he went of an extreme point to another extreme, and both of them are wrong in their own ways Not a criticism, I was just thinking about that cause that's the 3 reaction I had seen that be happy for him be merciless and ignore the cruel way that he did that

Well he had to become the monster 👹

Giving context to Mutiny: In the original poem, Tiresias warned them that they could only get home if they didn't slaughter Helios's cows. Of course in ancient Greek fashion, this means it's actually a prophecy of the Fates, and they were gonna do that no matter what. When they starved on Helios' island due to a supernatural wind that prevents them from leaving, Eurylichus slaughtered the cows because he knew he's dead either way. Ancient Greece was an honour-based society, and dying of smiting-by-god is more honourable than slowly starving like a mongrel. He said that in the off chance they DO live through this, the crew would build a temple to Helios when they got back to Ithaca. And then Zeus came and killed them all, ofc. I'm not gonna get too into it but like, Polyphemus actually cursed Odysseus in chapter 9 so that either they'd ALL never reach home, or only Odysseus will, but he "will only find misery in his home" (I.e. the hundred shitty suitors squatting at his house for 20 years.) So in the book, the whole time after leaving the cyclops, Odysseus actually knew his entire crew was boned.
