Marie usually hates puns and usually cringes whenever Callie makes a pun, so I like to think that her making puns during the Octo Oven fight is in some way herself coping/cheering herself up with the fact that Callie is missing, even though its something she despises, it reminds her of Callie which gives her comfort.

I actually didn't remember that Callie was the one making the puns and jokes with Marie being the straight girl. It's been too long really and it could also be that Marie barely sees Callie much due to their careers taken separate paths. Marie picked up on Callie's outgoing nature because she misses her.

The "Color Lock" option will pick 2 specific opposing colors, 1 color scheme, that has been tested and confirmed to be viewable by multiple forms of Colorblindness. 🤗

Well, that was a pretty cool boss fight, not going to lie. Espeically for the first one in the game. Far more in depth than anything aside from the final boss in the first game. They really stepped up their game presentation wise here. They also stepped up their pun game. Marie, stop. There's only so many puns a mortal soul can handle in one day, and Emile already gets far to close to that quota just by being himself. Edit: This episode has everything. Fails, great moments, lore, great bossfight, Emile admitting he wanted to play Moray Towers... It think this is the first episode that really felt like it captured the essence of the first series in every way. Can't wait to see where it goes from here.

The oldest Horseshoe crab fossil dates back from 445 million years ago. Meaning that Splatoon and Splatoon 2 take about 97 million years in the future. However, if we look at arthropods in general, the oldest fossil was in the Cambrian period so it has a maximum of 541 million years ago. Making it only 1 million years in the future. Then again, They are sentient Arthropods and since they don't exist now, as far as we know, it might just be speculation and the time period is way different.

That opening is genuinely more hilarious than it should of been and those two back to back matches felt like a sad story nonetheless and I always enjoy seeing Splatoon gameplay whenever I get the opportunity but I honestly felt quite bad for Chugga, especially at 36:14 considering any sniper in splatoon is arguably one of the more complex weapons in the game to master but at the same time, it was hilariously embarrassing to watch and at least he tried in which I can’t complain about too much but even so, very unfortunate but the LP is looking great so far!!!! 🥴🤣🤣🤣

Something worth noting on Splat Bomb on Charger is that chucking it at your feet if someone charges you or rolling it to a corner behind you if you're being chased is good way to counter kill. While any weapon with splat bombs can do this, Splat Charger can find itself in these situations more often due to its weak close quarters. Sting Ray has some fun high level applications if you can really tighten your game play on it. Damaged opponents appear on the map, so if you can tag people (or if your team tags them for you), you can fully track them on the map while using Sting Ray and laser focus for kills. Much easier said than done as you can imagine.

One good tip that is especially nice for chargers is to hold in a direction and press the Y button while you're charging your shot to quickly turn to that direction and blast anyone it the way.

Now that it's four episodes in, I've gotta say I really love this set up for the series. One campaign level at the start, hopping into a thorough explanation of whatever weapon is highlighted for the episode, then going straight into online. I fought and beat the Toasts boss while _ice-skating_ IRL one time lol. I brought my Switch out onto an ice rink with me and just played Splatoon 2 while skating, entered Octo Canyon, entered the boss level, and beat it all on ice. It was fun, and my friend even recorded some of it.

Only thing is I only currently have a few seconds of the recording and I'm not sure if my friend still has the rest, and also I haven't uploaded to my channel in a while because I've been busy and I don't exactly want my first upload in a while to just be a random clip that has nothing to do with my content without a word, so I'm waiting until I have a chance to put out other proper videos first. I really respect the people that can make this weapon work well. Every time i've tried to use it I can never get into a spot where I feel like i'm using it well, it feels like it requires probably the most thought out of every weapon in the whole game since both getting kills with it and effectively inking turf requires a lot more planning and care.

This is a nice explanation how you generally use sniper weapons in First Person Shooters. But this is not an ordinary Fps now, is it? The Splatcharger can be used in various different ways that don't include shooting at enemies. Your shots are long and fairly wide, meaning that you can actually ink a good amount of ground when not aiming at the ground or you can help allies by inking walls that have high traffic. Tired of standing there and holding your charged shot until an enemy comes in view? How about shooting and inking the ground? Just standing there isn't helping the team and if you are already removed from the fight, might as well contribute to the main objective. Plus you charge your special more often than twice a match like that. Are you tired of standing in one place? Move into enemy territory! This sounds counterintuitive as you are not the best at close quarter combat, but your long shots also double as an escape route (as long as you don't get flanked), so you can get some distance between you and the enemy and charge up. An unexpected plus side to this is that many players don't know how to handle a Splatcharger charging at them instead of charging up shots on a perch; the shift in momentum works in your favour more often than you'd imagine. But let's say you want to be the stationary sniper, is there something else you can do when you are not that good sniping? Yes, there is. Instead of trying to quick aim to hit a target, try openly aiming at them. 'But then they know where I am!' I hear you say and yes, that's true. but they also can't just continue forward without adjusting their path. This is especially useful when an ally and an enemy are fighting. The mere existence of your snipe line forces the enemy to move, shoot behind them to cut off their path or behind your ally to give them an escape route; you essentially have the power to turn a 1 on 1 into a 2 on 1 without having to move. It's the power of supportive fire. Splatchargers are easily one of the most versatile weapons in the game, so don't limit yourself to thinking your sole purpose lies in sniping enemies. Support the team, ink 1'200 points in one match (Yes, that is possible) or break the poise of enemies by charging into them. The weapon is what you make out of it, whether you are good at hitting or not. And yes, I am a Charger Main since Splatoon 1, but my speciality lies in support and inking. It feels like I am actually doing something. plus, because of that being in a full sniper team is not a nightmare for me, as we have at least two different uses of the weapon and seeing me charging in usually teaches the other snipers that that is also an option.

Yeah, a lot of top level charger players like Brian say that the charger's real value comes less from directly killing and more from suppressing the enemy team's movement. Even the best of chargers might not be able to score double digit kills, but just by being on the field they force the enemy to use alternative routes, often riskier or more predictable ones. Combine that with Stingray or Suction Bomb Launcher, two great zoning specials, and you have a weapon that can just shut down whole areas of the field by existing and putting out a few shots and specials.

I ran Respawn Punisher with the Tri-Slosher on Tower Control. I often got 12 or more kills and only a couple of deaths; as long as I was the only one running it, I calculated that the time I bought us with my kills countered the time lost by my death. Ancho-V Games was actually my favorite map on the Wii U. I never experienced lag on it and found the different routes using the fans really fun. And you just had to punch me in the feels with those stories they released up to the launch of the game, didn’t you? I fondly recall those days.

I wish I could use snipers and chargers in general. I really do, because I know I'd enjoy picking people off at a distance, but i just can't aim with snipers to save my life, and it doesn't suit my playstyle. Sad, because I'd love being that evil sniper everyone hates haha
