To answer the question at 0:57 sadly yes, after June 10, 2024 nintendo axed all forms of twitter support from the switch, which is what S2 and S3 used for the plaza posts, while nintendo pushed an update for S3 which made it so it's now just sent to nintendo's servers (which has been in the code for a while, just needed a backend switch to be enabled to, well enable this function, S2 got left in the dark cause they would have had to re-do the whole plaza post system. oh well at least we don't need a twitter account for plaza posts anymore

I sadly joined at the last bit of this games life (I at least managed to play 'Final Fest', I was on Team Chaos btw :D). Though there are times where I wished I could have known about this series earlier, since I think I would've have gotten a blast out of it. At least I managed to stick around for Splatoon 3 through it's entirety.

Pretendo exists by the way. All you need to do to use it is change your Wii U's networking settings and make an account.

I tried going back to Splatoon 2(it was more natural cus I still had a lot of screenshots and videos saved from it) and I think I had a much better experience, I got on ark Polaris in salmon run with a full crew of randoms and it was like it never left. Also found like a few turf war matches where I mostly just screwed around with a roller

I think people aren't playing as much anymore because the nostalgia factor hasn't hit them yet

Splatoon 2 was amazing! So many cool special concepts! im glad most of them came back and i hope for some more to come back! (with heavy reworks of corse) Also (16:51) "INK ARMORS COOL!" *dies in amazement* XD

You should really try out playing Splatoon 1 again its very easy to set up prerendo. You dont even need a modded wii u

Yes the inklings do look different in 3 and i hate it. Splatoon 2 better. I started splatoon 3 the day it was released and went back to splatoon 2 at the end of september. Changing the inklings look is a big no no

Fuckkjhjkkhjdkdk I need to get my splatoon2 game card I love the splat2 maps sm TT I hope they get readded in the next game. Splat2 is my everything. I’m pretty sure my sister still plays this instead of splat3
