First time watching any strong splatoon players and Im honestly amazed by the pacing of this compared to A tier where I am. This feels super intense

Astrix I believe over 50- I think its just different to watch it, because I’ve played games where I’d get well over 20 kills, but Ive never used a splattershot pro (I use rollers, brushes, n-zap, brellas, and mainly a squelcher). The movement just looks much more advanced then what Ive used, but I have no clue if I play like that or not

What's interesting is A rank is where things start to change, and get serious. I remember the first time I got to A rank in Splatoon 1 and I got stuck there forever. This time I just breezed past A rank. I don't think I've been in A rank since the first week Splatoon 2 was out.

I have a tip to new ability farmers: If you have a lot of sea snails because of splatfests (like a few hundred) you can just find gear that favors the ability you want and just keep rerolling that gear. When you reroll, it gives you ability chunks of what was replaced

@@vanillune I personally use bloblobber in clam blitz and it works well, just some tips: if you see a team member near the basket with for example, 7 clams and you have 3 pass them some so you can quickly break the basket

Vanillama728 I use dualies. Sometimes the Clapples, sometimes the custom squelchers. But on portmakerel I use the clash blaster lol Clam blitz is hated and I think no one realizes that the reason why is that clam is easier with the “scummy” weapons (ie. clash, blob, sploosh)

Lol I love how the hair style change was a necessary part of your switch to frontline. I also found it interesting how you just hop on the tower occasionally to keep it pushed up, but wait to let one of your teammates to actually ride it before going to suppress the defenders. At least that’s what I was noticing in the second game.

To people who are trying to reach X rank, stay motivated and try to push the objective or the opponents with AT LEAST one other teammate. Also try to coordinate specials with your team even though it is hard. Just watch when pros use their specials and you'll see what I mean.

All I saw was a lot of dying and some decent flanking. Anyone can play like this, but teammate support is (in my opinion) the biggest factor when it comes to going far in rank x. Every match I get a DC on my team, or an Eliter who doesn't know shit lol. Having a good team really takes it to the next level.

Viantastic and GG Gabriel Gaming are doing Splatoon 2 content for entertainment, they may not be competitive, but that isn't all to this game. Sure Erza is better than them, but at least they're having fun with what they're doing. Erza has fun playing competitive, they have fun by goofing off and having a fun time with their friends. I both enjoy competitive and casual videos. Competitive inspires me to keep getting better and casual helps me to calm down from my anger after having a really bad losing streak. They are all great content creators and deserve respect and support.
