I've been in exactly that position. Was a Hydra standing in front of a wide-open area. With seconds left I prepared to let loose a torrent of ink to hose down the area for a lot of points. *A freaking INKBRUSH suddenly leaps in front of my shot to spam his paltry spit-sprinkling of ink.* We lose the match as a result. One of those rare times I legitimately wanted to reach through the internet and choke somebody.

Their was one time on clam blitz where I was using my dualie squelches on overtime and I was the only one standing between the enemy holding the superclam and the clam basket. As he came up I quickly went into my second firing position and was about to spat him. Little did I know that a tri slosher player had just respawned. He jumped in front of me and tried to splat the enemy ten feat away with his tri slosher range and yeah we lost.

Yeah, usually I just avoid parties if I don’t want to join by inking the whole map and not killing them but some people kill me even though I avoid them to let them party. They all squidbag me and then I just kill them if I can.

I think most “This way” spammers (*cough*me*cough*) usually have an advantage in the mode, let’s say, they have a power clam. But, then, they get swarmed by the other team, and they need help. So, they spam “This way” to get the urgency across. (Also, for new players, it’s hard to jump super jump away, bc we aren’t good with controls). But, yes, people who are at your spawn and start spamming this way are freaking annoying.

Here are all the kinds of worthless teammates I get most commonly: •The ones who don't try to put themselves in a good position when someone super jumps to them. I can't be the only one who knew about this, but: If a teammate is super jumping to you, you will see an arrow with their name pointing to you. Try to put yourself in a safe position before their landing spot appears. If the enemies try to camp their landing spot, please kill those douchebags. Can I get at least *one* teammate who knows about this? No? •The disconnector as you mentioned. I literally get this ALL the time. Why does everyone have such rubbish internet!? But... I am determined to win when that happens. I am determined to clear my personal challenge of winning a 3 V 4 ranked battle. It nearly happened once but then you know, my idiot teammates gave up. •The shot blocker. •The aerospray user. I mean look, this weapon is amazing on turf war due to the immense turf coverage. But why use it in ranked? It sucks at getting kills. It's literally 100% designed for turf war, because killing opponents in turf war isn't such a vital strategy unlike it is in ranked battles.

I also wish it would give you some kind of extra bonus for winning a ranked battle or salmon run with disconnected players. I am constantly winning 3 player salmon runs and I get no credit

i only use the Aerospray in Splat Zones and im usually the first one to get to the zones and try to claim them. I'm currently A- in Splat Zones, and in B or B+ ranks in everything else. But i use the Kensa Splattershot in everything else [sometimes the Inkbrush Nouveau in Tower Control]

Every time I play Splatoon and join a match, I rush ahead and ink as much as I can, then cover our entire area with ink if it is not already been covered. If my sub is powered up, I always use it immediately. Edit: not getting your teammates when they have been splatted in Salmon Run

Yeah squidbagging is not cool but you should try not to get really triggered by it, because then you're letting that opponent get what they want. They want to make people triggered. Also don't hunt that person down just to squidbag them back, because it can distract you from the objective.

Bruh party throwers during the splatfests were actual hell. I had a good streak going and the second we went up against the same team, my team spammed booyah and lost the streak. I loved their enthusiasm, but losing a streak to a party makes me commit disconnect.

The splashdown off tower is just Ike’s Up+B combo trying to get back on the stage but in Splatoon. I wanna add another one: The one who goes “afk” on purpose in a sense of getting splatted by Salmonids like 12 times by just standing at one spot for 2 waves, with teammates not getting the hint that they’re sabotaging, then jumping into the water immediately after being revived over and over. I reported them.

Once won a 2 V 4 clam blitz. It was originally a 3 V 4 but after the other team got through once they disconnected so it was just me and this one guy. Who knows how we won, probably more luck than anything but it certainly taught me to never give up

I find myself with party throwers, Body blockers, Bubble bois And mostly just AFK and potato net players also Rick rollers AKA noob rollers. I also fall into a category, most people do, I use a lot of specials, and in ranked I’ll use a special to drive people away or to cut off a route. And I use special when I can.
