i have a silly little headcannon of Rainbow color inkantation :3 when the idols are singing they are fighting over who gets the mic so thats why it sounds all jumbled in the last minute whoever's shout plays the idol group gets the mic and the other idols give up

I've never seen translations before. I've only seen like squiddish what it sounds in english "wake up little star, in the night, pick up all your body, ... take your tiiiiiiime" Is the chorus for colour pulse in my head. Your translations were pretty perfect! I enjoyed them

The term for that is pareidolia, which is what Caitlin Koi uses in her lyrics. I use it to a much lesser extent, like in the first line "You, and me," or later with "you with me" at the Squid Sisters' last minute.

I am actually making my own fan translation from splatoon lyrics and have been working on it for years (restarting multiple times) I have a full conlang translation of calamari Inkantation (original and spicy) as well as tide goes out finished.

Whoa, this is so good!! Love how the Squid Sisters seem to be responding to Deep Cut early in the song. And all of them sound so motivating for their teams, especially with the references to their chosen theme. Goodness, though, Deep Cut's last minute is somehow even more hype.

5:27 I get that this a translation, but, apparently Deep Cut didn't hear about the last person who wanted a perfect world. I hear he called upon the equivalent of Satan and lost to a 15 year old.

The alluded to Characters are: Rei/ Akari- The 15 year old in PLA Volo- Main Villain Giratina- The Renegade Pokémon Cynthia- Champion/ Descendant of Volo Cyrus- Boss of Team Galactic/ Cyllene's Grandson Lucas/ Dawn- Protagonist in DP/ BDSP/ Pt So, I can only shudder what Deep Cut envision their "Perfect World". Volo & Cyrus wanted to create a new world void of emotions, I fear what Deep Cut would attempt. Worst case scenario, they become dictators of a world of lawlessness & chaos, only for Shiver to let power get to her head causing Frye & Big Man to defect in an attempt to save her; Frye getting Killed and Big Man locked up. Which sounds just like what happened between Romeo, Xara & Fred before the events of Minecraft Story Mode, where Fred ended up dead and Xara both powerless & locked in a TNT + Lava filled cage, branded as the highly dangerous Prisoner X. Sorry, I get talkative sometimes. So... uh, kinda late, but, sorry for the major plot spoilers for Minecraft Story Mode Season 2, which is... well... discontinued.

@@luxrayblast When the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook mention a "paradise" and a "golden realm" in _Three Wishes,_ Deep Cut didn't interject with their own idea, so I just had to come up with something lmao Their "perfect world" would probably be a world where nobody has to live in poverty, if you ask me. And also, don't worry, I'm used to people running their mouth for extended periods of time, I do it too lmao
