As an X player in splat 2 but in 3 I’ve been stuck in S+5 for so long, it’s not you/ your skill. I feel like it’s just harder to rank up with the lose 3 and you’re out system, plus I feel like the opponents have just gotten significantly better. Good luck, you got this!

If you ever feel like you’re getting annoyed (or raging more), I recommend playing salmon run. Something about working with other players instead of battling against them makes me feel more relaxed than ranked or turf wars. Whenever I feel like I’m getting too annoyed at ranked, I just play some salmon run. Edit: when I said “Ranked” I meant “Anarchy” because I forgot that they changed the name for it

I actually do this a lot! And even if things aren’t going good in salmon run i either go into story mode or play animal crossing or ninjala.

I actually really like doing this during splatfests! I wish there was a way to tell what teams your teammates were on when doing so, it's nice working with other teams and keeps you from getting overly upset lol. It's usually pretty active during that time to, atleast in my experience

about how points work: from what i’ve seen, splatoon 3 (and previous entries) use a modified version of Glicko-2. Glicko-2 has 3 variables, the rating (shown as X Power), a rating volatility, and a rating deviation. This explains why the change in X Power after finishing a series is not always consistent.

6:36 Debunking Jaymoji Xrank Splatoon right now. It is actually yellow, I know this because yellow and purple are the main colours of Splat 3 (and it so happens purple is the opposing team). Furthermore, looking at a colour wheel, we see Jaymoji’s team colour is closer to pure yellow then pure lime/green. So it is yellow Jaymoji L+Ratio Also red is a colour you can play as now, Jaymoji Xrank splatoon literally fights against a team that is red here 10:10 (if you say that is an orange you are objectively wrong).
