I'm not gonna mince words: the final wave of the final section of After Alterna being at the very end of this no-death challenge is *not fair.*

yeah it is. think about after alterna kinda like the elite four in pokemon, its really hard to do deathless (when playing with nuzlocke rules) but is still very possible. if you lose at the elite four in pokemon nuzlockes, you have to restart. why should it be different here? + stage 4 of after alterna is very possible to ai manip with small fry, so while it is the hardest part of the run, it isnt impossible by any means

hey, dunno if youre gonna see this but i just beat the challenge like an hour ago. it took nearly 200 hours worth of planning, playing, practicing, etc. and thought id reply here because your comment was a massive motivator for me lmao

i’d love to do this challenge, but the dying once resets your run feels a little too extreme, maybe a set number of “lives” might be better, at least for me personally

i feel like the death = reset rule makes each run feel so much more intense. i was gonna set myself lives, but i felt like that'd be too easy
