It’s funny, I love this thing by how horrible and weird it is. It leans into that creepy side of splatoon and I think it fits with the vibes of the dlc.

tip: if you have the inkstrike special this boss is beyond easy, because you can just throw the inkstrike at it which destroys multiple layers at a time

bc it's the worst designed special in splatoon history. Because it has infinite range it encourages boring playstyles, and you can't fight against it at all if the stingray user is at least a bit competent because no matter where you are they can just shoot through walls. In other words, it has no counterplay unlike other actually well designed specials like crab or killer wail

same reason they still let bosses get the instakill version of the killer wail but players dont: something thats great for enemy design can be terrible for players to have access to in PVP

Yes stick may look horrible to control, motion has better movement. Just use stick for more challenges lol.
