I've been playing since the Wii U days too. I do miss the Squid Sisters Amiibo concert feature from the first Splatoon game, I was a little disappointed that it was never added to Splatoon 2 with the Off the Hook Amiibo figures. Hopefully the concert feature will be brought back in Splatoon 3, even just a Deep Cut concert feature using Deep Cut Amiibo figures will do. It would be nice if all three idol groups (the Squid Sisters, Off the Hook and Deep Cut) had their own concert in game using their respective Amiibo figures, similarly to how the Squid Sisters Amiibo figures let you see a concert in the first Splatoon game.

It's SO nice hearing a redone version of this song. The mixing and vocals are just so much nicer than the original. You can tell the VAs are MUCH more confident with singing in the Inkling language than they used to be. The processing on the voices has been refined to the point where it sounds less like gurgling machines and more like an actual squid language. The mixing also really helps the vocals shine more, it's not as overly loud, and all around it's just a nicer listening experience. No doubt I'll still always have nostalgia for the original version, but this truly does feel like two idols performing one of their most popular songs several years later.
