I know it's really dirty playstyle, because I'm just camping in there spawn point and not letting them run away. But that tells who is playing smart, these matches isn't about killing opponents, I know it, though it slows down them and gives my team advantage to ink everything in the map. Roller looks noob weapon, I have no chances against players who uses guns, sneak attacks works the best against those players and honestly I like to play like that, doing sneak attacks and surprise the opponent. So don't get killed guys and girls :P Smart player will use this as an advantage like me.

Anyone that dislikes this video clearly doesn't understand how competitive shooters work. Spawn trapping the opponent allows the remainder of your team to easily fulfill the objective. Don't play any form of PvP game if you dislike losing so much. The other team wasn't good either since they let a single roller get all the way up there and kill them so much. He was playing intelligently, even if it was campy. It worked and they weren't good enough to counter it. Good stuff Samu.

***** The weapon/loadout that Samu is using is one of the very early rollers. Those lower level guys have access to it. They just aren't very good. Levels have nothing to do with skill.

My very first game of Splatoon I ever played I got 11 kills I believe, with other low to mid 10s in the lobby. Levels don't mean anything if you actually know how to aim your weapon and move around. And yes you can still be a bad level 20. All it means is that you have access to better gear. Levels aren't indicative of skill. Rank is. Halos Reach and 4 as well as the Call of Duties have this issue. (Bad SR130s anyone?) "Experience" doesn't mean you're good. A low level can know what they're doing if they just have basic shooter mechanics, which carry over.

Barbignouf pls first he picks roller cancer and then he decides to camp their spawn with it. Sure, there's ways to deal with it but quite frankly I don't want to HAVE to deal with bullshit like that. The fact that he got to their spawn with a melee-only weapon while the entire team had long-ranged weapon ( including what seems to be a sniper, I haven't played the game yet ) clearly show that the other team was just terrible, they literally have no excuse for this. Plus if you don't want to deal with it, stop playing video games, players that want to win will use anything accessible to them, especially if it's really annoying or hard to deal with, he's exploiting the other team weakness like he should be doing because that actually manage to help his team winning in the end, if his strategy ain't broken, he have no reason to fix it, it's up to the other team to learn how to deal with it. You clearly sounds like one of those shitters that was whining about Lil' Mac in SSB4 at release while he is now considered one of the weakest character in the game.

This reminds me of a time when I was running Turf War on Kelp Dome and my entire had them spawn locked after covering the entire map in our color of ink. One player got smart and decided to make in-roads with their roller, but I chased them down. We ended winning 82.4%-9.9%. Granted they had three chargers and a roller, but they sat at their spawn point for almost the entire match. Word to the wise: Don't sit at your spawn point, even when you are surrounded and have a charger.

Few things to point out. This video was published the day after the game was released. Everyone is litterally between 1/5th and 1/9th Samura1man's level. Everyone is in the starter gear besides Samura1man's, its the only roller and lets face it, rollers are abit OP anyway, yes it was spawn camping. This being said, playing against higher leveled players with better gear and more practice and op weapons makes you a better player and spawn camping, while possibly a cheap move is a perfectly reasonable tactic. Dont want to be spawncamped, then dont let the enemy get close enough to do so or learn how to get out of it. My favorite part is 2:56 when Samura1man releases the Kraken on the entire team, you now at that moment, gamestop just bought back 4 copies of the game.

Stumbled upon this, pure spawn kill Which isn't fun, whether you do it or receive it I'm quite disappointed to see no more skill than regular parties in this video so, a few tips to prevent getting spawn killed : 1- Equipment with splash damage (no pun intended) is very useful to get rid of several enemies at once or at least scare them off. 2- Create a path, an opening you can exploit and rush into the enemy territory. Stay wary from attacks, you have to get their attention long enough to allow your teammates to spread on the map. 3- With the sniper, you can create a straight line pretty far away, use it to escape the cluster of players, gain some distance and, once in an advantageous position, snipe the ones remaining near your spawn point. 4- Use every bit of "safe" unpaint territory to charge your ult and blast your way out of this mess. Just following these can get you out of many spawn kill situations, remember that the weapon determine the damage you do and a paint bullet is a paint bullet, no matter the player's level.
