From my view I think the water bleeds inside their body which maybe damage them Although their baby/ toddler variant probably doesn't have this problem since their skin are not thin enough yet to tranform into squid/ octopus so water doesn't affect them Just my thoughts, genuinely curious what others takes on it

@@kinzint1514 Honestly, sounds pretty accurate to my own thoughts. Adding onto that, I personally think that the Inklings and Octolings _could_ swim if the water was SPECIFICALLY filtered for them, which could also be used as drinking water. This would be why the drinks from the concessions don't just burn them from the inside-out, they use that same filtered water when making them so they're safe to consume.

Agent 4 is just being dramatic. She would have to be fully in the water to be hurt. Otherwise inklings wouldn't be able to shower, which they cannonically can do. But honestly, that just makes it even funnier to me.

Awe, you did an amazing job with the animation! And with the storytelling too, it's a very nice idea you came up with ^^ Absolutely Love how you kept accurate to the game lore too that inklings and octolings cannot swim or the die X3 And the smaller details here and there are wonderful! There are of course some areas to work on the animation, like making some moves faster, they look wonderful though a little floaty, and a bit of smoother animating with smallfry as his animation is a little all over the place. Yet animating a non-biped is tricky enough, and you definitely did an outstanding job with the animation of lil' buddy!! Keep going strong and improving with your animation too! Well they dont burn they slowly over 105 seconds dissolve as when fully submerged 120 seconds can peel skin cause visual burns after 70 seconds

Love the Animation, Just one thing. Inklings and Octolings don't really burn when they touch water like that, Like if they dip their fingers into water they are totally fine. It's when they are totally Submerged in water is when they go splat. So pretty much if there is more water then Ink then they are in danger of going splat. Not trying to ruin the vid, I think it's awesome. Just wanted to share that Detail
