A draw in Splatoon is impossible. In a turf war, if both teams get 50%, the game will randomly give one of the teams 0.1%.

But you can get a difference of 1p, which didn't happen in the video. That is, the differences were actually because of human error.

Arturo Torres Sánchez I noticed the small bit atop of the wall that they didn't ink on the first map... but camp triggerfish is a pretty good map to use for it since it's literally split in half hehe... I'm sure they got a .1p difference in the video? ah well.

0.1% is different than 1p. Whenever Judge gives the score, you can see two numbers: the percentage and the points (I don't know if they are like cm² or something?). To have a true 50/50 you need the same number of points.

Abigail Townsend I don't think that they were able to get 50/50 in the first or second round. If you look at the scores beneath the percentages you can see that there is a 3 point difference in both rounds. A "draw" would be a 1 point difference.

It's impossible to get a 50-50 match When there's a tie, judd chooses randomly the winner by adding them 0.1 score You can prove this by not painting anything, no team should win, but judd adds the score randomly so there's a winner

first attempt u actually did it, both spawn areas have an un-inkable 1% area, and since it was a draw, one team was given 1% so they could win, as draws weren't possible :) u already did it :D

You got 50/50 on all attempts, the thing is that the developers didn't expect that a 50/50 can technically occur. In the game's code, there are files for each team, Team Alpha and Team Bravo. Automatically Team Alpha would win since the devs made it that way, not to mention Alpha's spawn equates more ink than Bravo's spawn. To help stop this from happening, Bravo always gets a greater area to splat their ink in order to balance it.
