So while I can relate to the sploosh you had in the last game, it’s not really on the full scale. The sploosh in your game is in a top 500 match and is spamming this way essentially throughout the entire match Last night I was REALLY grinding when it came to trying to achieve at least 2000 (or closer to it) than what I had, my power was at 1615 and got 3 snowballs in a row on TC. If it weren’t for the fact that I hadn’t devised a rush style plan, I would have had many more snowballs. But I still somehow managed to get 1615 down to 1415. If you’re confused on where I’m going with this. Let’s just say after the first set, it was WAY to sweaty given the power of the Rank. And when I was at 1500 power I lost against a brush who not only felt much higher skill level than mine at the time, but had MANY more splats than ANYONE else And sorry for the paragraphs, but it’s just that ever since the switch 2 announcement I’ve been trying to achieve top 500 before splatoon 4 is announced as I did something similar back in splatoon 2 and with a new account, ranked from a level 1 turf player to a sploosh with 2200 peak x power within ONE YEAR I guess what I’m trying to ask is, how do *you* counter the mental feedback of having constant snowballs thrown at you?

Hi warmaniac! sorry for the late answer! and don't worry about it, well, i guess you could say i counter them by just having fun and enjoying my games. When i start playing a match i always think about playing a "good game" i tell myself to be smart, play calm and most important to enjoy the game even with all the drawbacks. One of the things i enjoy during a match is to experiment different things with my dapples, and adapt those that worked well to my playstyle, it is always great to see how you improve by learning new techniques, now, by doing all this, i don't feel bad if lose one, two or a set of games because i enjoyed the games and played as best as i could, honestly i had games where i'm respawning, i notice all my teammates are dead, the opposite team is pushing with all their specials ready if not almost all of them i know i'm heading to a certain dead but think to myself that at least i'm going to take at least two with me just to end up dead without splatting anyone haha even situations like that are part of the game and I try to find the fun in them. In conclusion i have fun playing splatoon
