I am obsessed with Lisa McGee's writing. I just had to go through something very similar when one of my closest friends passed during quarantine. We couldn't do any kind of service for her for months and that weighed on me mentally - like the idea of exiting the world so silently. That thought alone is terrifying, and the realization that she was not the only one to pass this way forced me down a really dark place. This short really captured that whole vibe as a mourner during this moment in time.
