@@Klanosk3 I just watched the Green/Blue Vertical Strategy video. However in the video you said that the vertical strategy for black, white, red is quite less efficient than blue,green. Could you explain a strategy for black white red, please? (By the way, since i watched your videos, I've always won. ) :) Thank you

8:46 - just curious, why you only take 3 coins or make a buy - why never reserve a card? I feel like it's a solid base strategy BUT let's assume this scenario: you've got 8 or 9 coins. The only buyable card is really bad value for money. There's also a card on the board which would give you 1-2 points and you could buy it if you just had a gold coin. In that case I'd get the urge to reserve that card.

In a scenario like that, sure, depart from the rule, use everything at your disposal. In my own play I certainly use the yellow coin/reserve a card action a lot, but it's mostly when you're the object of defensive moves by other players. The idea in this video is to simplify the game and be good for first-timers or people who want to focus on the conversation rather than bothering too hard about the strategy portion of the game. First timers shouldn't be targeted like that, and this gives a simple scaffold for starting to plan ahead.

What strategies from your videos do you find work for 2, 3, 4, and 5 player games?

I like the more "aggressive" strategies for 2 player games, one of the vertical options or the 'all yellows' strategy. For larger games playing I prefer playing defensively, so I like the nobles strategy, or the 'beginner' strategy of just taking the best card available and having the next buy in mind, since the card turnover is much higher. Have fun!
