Check this out: I also bought myself a $100 Gazebo / Pergola (200cm x 200cm) and placed it in my basement on a noise absorbing rug. I left the outside "walls" off and placed moving blankets on all five sides. Got myself a 10M led strip for the inside and some bass traps in the corners and foam on the inside off the blankets. Super easy set-up for recording with my D18 and singing at the same time straight into my iPhone using the Roland Go Pro mix. Call me cheap but I just love my little "tent" inside my basement. Nice and cozy. Love your channel.

When you say a “pre-amp” @06:18 it appears that a plug-in will do the trick, correct? What plug-in is that in the video?

But Rockwool or fiberglass is made for under wall installation , not for be used even with being covered by material. Because it lead to 15% more chance for lugs cancer. What do you think about that information?
@StephenOrion
@StephenOrion 3 жыл бұрын
It’s not true today anymore. Look up at the latest rock wool information and health relation. I’ve been living in a room with 6 panels for 2 years now. Just cover with a fabric and you’re pretty safe from even coming in contact with it.
@ibrahim47x
@ibrahim47x 3 жыл бұрын
Rockwall, yeah, dangerous. Fiberglass on the other hand is not cancer causing according to studies, but that doesn’t mean it should be inhaled or that it can’t injure lung tissues, so it should be covered with proper protective fabric and handled with care during installation.

@@StephenOrion If this is the lastest infromation from company like rock wool , so it should be rediculous to trust it.CocaCola also wrote that sugar has no harm for health and Malboro told the same about tobaco. 6-10 years is nothing for cancer occur. No one know what it would become into after 20-30 years.But company like Rockwool will have money anyway

@@ibrahim47x Do you have this in your room? Does it provide good result for sound absobrtion as well as Mineral Wool?

@@leavesproduction1043 Fair point. Many people including studio professionals have done their research and concluded it's safe to use in their million dollar studios too. So, to me, I don't mind given the benefits i get even if it's technically more harmful to my health than having none at all. It's not a carcinogen though. Just do your research and see if you want or not. I prefer this than other foam options thats not on a pro standard.
