Our first stop on the tour was a visit to a captivating shipwreck, where we marvelled at the remnants of history beneath the crystal-clear waters. For the thrill-seekers in our group, jumping off the boat into the refreshing Adriatic Sea was an exhilarating experience that added an extra layer of excitement to our day. My family has 2 thrill seekers when it comes to water LOL.
But the adventure didn't stop there. For Lehan and Zoe, it was a milestone moment as they embarked on their first snorkelling adventure in open water. With the guidance of our expert guides, they were able to discover the vibrant underwater world teeming with life, a moment of pure wonder and awe.
During our time in Split, we also had the opportunity to visit one of the oldest cathedrals in the world, a testament to the rich history and culture that permeates every corner of this charming city. Steeped in tradition and architectural beauty, it was a humbling experience to witness such a significant piece of history first-hand.
As our time in Split drew to a close, we embarked on a new adventure - an overnight ferry journey with Jadrolinija from Croatia to Italy. After weeks of exploration and adventure, it was a welcome reprieve to relax and unwind on the ferry, enjoying the comforts of a bed for the first time in what felt like ages.
