What if you want to do darker roots? And what happens if the lace or cap gets dyed? ( I just bought my first wig for fun and i don't know anything about this stuff)

Lol you would just put the root color before the color you want to use for the whole head. The way to avoid coloring your lace is by using a comb at the root to come the dye in so it’s only touching the hair and not the lace.

Use a black brush for dying it gets all the strands pour the dye into the brush and at tip of the brush to get close to roots without touching the lace.

Nothing will happen if you are careful and apply the dye with the comb like I did
