My old Muay Thai instructor introduced this kali technique into his thai technique and it was very frustrating for our opponents as they were hit and their counter immediately shutdown. He called the vertical gunting, the "hair sweep", as if brushing your hair back out of your eyes. Very effective when dodging blows and avoid being hit, defence always in place. Many thanks. Pat.

Can you not use Woang Pak into split entry?

I would use hands for parry or block. Then knee the grind once it's that close. As all the boxing fools put focus on head/hands & never looked down. Unlikely you will be in the right position when you needed to pull off all those moves and likely they grab hold.
