Dear Steve, I can’t understand why there aren’t more comments. Your work is superb and what you are making is very practical but beautiful. I for one appreciate the enormous effort that you have put in to present this series. I also want to thank you for producing something specifically designed for left-handers. We do get regularly ignored and this is refreshing. Nice job.

Thanks very much Peter. I appreciate your kind words. I have plenty of room for improvement and I learned a lot making this bench. It really stretches your technique and understanding. It’s good to see it’s helping fellow lefty handers too! I don’t understand why my videos and channel is not doing better. I am fully open and honest about the poor quality of some of the earlier ones, but each time I make a video I try to improve. There’s plenty to learn in video production too. If I wasn’t working full time I’d be able to give it more time and focus. Good luck making your bench. Are you on Instagram? Perhaps you could post updates on there. There’s plenty of folks on there that would be keen to watch your progress. 👍😊

I just found this and it could not have been better timing as I’m starting down the road of build my own bench. Watching the whole series but I have to ask where you got that router base?!?!?! I need to add that to my Dewalt for sure before I go any further. Hope you see this! Amazing job!

Thanks Craig. The router base is the standard one that came with the Dewalt router, including the side fence. I guess you mean the “plungebars”? The metal bars which I use to set the depth of cut. These I bought from WoodRat so go to their website and hopefully you can still buy them there? But these will not make the base any different. Hope you find the video series useful and good luck with your build...!
