The title is a bit confusing because the video is actually about a commercial building rather than a house.

Hi Danny, the video talks about one flat above a commercial unit, which is what you are referring too. If you listen to the front of the video once more you will hear us talk about converting the one flat into two above the commercial unit

When creating new leases for new flats I understand that you can’t the lease in your own name, do you have to put it in the name of your Ltd or can also put it directly in the end buyer’s name?

This is rather complex and you will need to get specific tailored advise from your tax accountant to understand the situation and advise you correctly
