When I was in technical training in the military, I was driving back to the base at night. With about two hours left to go, I lost the lights due to low voltage. I ran without lights in the country, and turned them back on going thru towns. The battery would charge up some with no lights. I made it to the base, and checked it out the next day. These B-757’s are still mechanically sound aircraft. Some of them will continue to see passenger service, Cargo Service and who knows convert to Tanker service fighting Wildfires. The 757 boasts powerful engines good for heavy water lift. This is the future for some aircraft.

My Dad has 1.2 nil miles on a 66 Chevy CarryAll. Yes original special ordered 327 industal Engine. at 600k miles he replaced exhaust valves and rings and gaskets/seals. All the rest he cleaned up and put back in. It still runs like a champ
