The day will come when mom "needs" her daughter, but her daughter will be too busy being a "Princess" to help mom, and that is mom's own fault. Mom will reap what she has sown. I'm 59 years old, now disabled with neuropathy in both my legs, walk with a cane and only receive $1000.00 a month to live on. Luckily I have family who has a small apt that I can afford. I work in a level 2 trauma hospital and am surrounded by scared people from all walks of life who are facing newly diagnosed ailments. I cant even count how many hands I held while trying my best to comfort a person at the most vulnerable moment of their lives while facing these diagnoses or hugging a hurt Daughter, Son, Wife, Husband, Sibling, Child or any other family member that lost a loved one taking their last breath. We have to do better for our children so that we dont lose sight of the importance of the time we have on this earth.

I could take $130,000-$140,000 & buy a brand new home, plus still have enough to buy a really nice brand new car with all the extras, & STILL have enough to live on for a year after that!!! Sorry, but thus kid just really pisses me off. There are so many of us out here who are literally practically killing ourselves to make just a tiny fraction of what that car costs, & some of us who could take what that car costs & have enough to live on pretty darn comfortably for about 4 YEARS!!!! Sorry, but I know what I saw my family go through, & I know what I’ve been through for the last few years. She needs to be cut off cold-turkey, & given a serious reality check with a Major come-to-Jesus moment. Her sense of entitlement is absurd & disgraceful.

Brian Valentas I never rewarded my kids with toys or candy just for being good. You have to be careful with that...same with paying for chores. Pretty soon they expect it and won't be good unless they get something and won't do chores unless they get paid. However, I did post a list of extra chores that they could choose to do for money...after their regular chores were done. I'm not opposed to rewards for good behavior just not every time ;) and more if it was above and beyond what is/was expected.

I used to drive on my learner's permit, on my own. Most of us probably did. While I was doing that, I once accidentally backed into a guy. I was freaking out, obviously, but I got lucky and he was surprisingly cool about it. I gave him my number and address and offered to pay for what little damage I had done, since I didn't have insurance. He never actually called me, but I owned up to my mistake and I offered to fix it. Hell, if I knew how, I would've done the work myself. This girl isn't doing that, it seems. She seems to be blaming the valet people for her stupidity. We all fuck up, but what matters is your response to your own fuck ups. The truth about people comes out when shit gets bad, and from that, we can see what we already knew about her, which is sad
@GplusGains6 жыл бұрын
Have you ever dealt with valets? Some of them are crooks and couldn't care less about you nor your car.
@filmandfirearms6 жыл бұрын
GplusGains No, I've never dealt with valets because I'm broke as shit. Still, I'm pretty sure the last gen G wagon has a back up cam, and I get by using my own two eyes in my 1990 Tercel. The G wagon can't have much worse visibility than a car that is nearly 30 years old and built for the sole purpose of being smaller than a Corolla
@filmandfirearms6 жыл бұрын
@jojofromtx I didn't have a license because I hadn't had my learner's permit long enough to get a license. I drove without insurance because you can't get insurance without a license. The reason I still drove is that I'm a car guy, and nothing short of physical barriers, like injury or not having a car, will stop me from driving, because driving and cars more generally are my passion. Try stopping anyone from indulging in their passion. It's pretty goddamn hard, if not downright impossible
