I am baffled by the fact that Jorge doesn't think Epic as a stage production would work. I'm 100% sure it can be made and do Epic justice

The olive tree bed was carved and built by Ody, who built a room around the tree, carved it, and then designed the rest of the palace around it. The only room he personally built was their bedroom afaik, and the only other person who knew the secret of the bed was the single maidservant who waited on Penelope in the mornings and evenings in their room before she went out into the rest of the palace. It truly is the “symbol of [their] love everlasting,” and the perfect final test for Penelope to know without a single doubt that this is her husband.

I think it's possible to have both a stage production and an animation movie/series for Epic.

I’m on meadow’s side here, I yearn to see a stage production of EPIC. I *do* think it’s possible and I *don’t* think it requires Cirque. Jay’s not a stage designer or choreographer (c’mon, floating baby in Horse and the Infant, really? why. whyyy), and a good creative stage designer/choreography team can work *magic.* I am *certain* it could be done. Might require some tweaks and modifications but I think EPIC needs some revision still anyway (that’s why it’s a concept album, not a final product). Thing is, it’d be different revisions for an anime/miniseries (where you could have the suspense/anticipation in an episode format that preserves the saga by saga release effect… *and* could expand some of the songs/concepts that need more room to breathe like God Games) versus a stage show (where some stuff would do better to be trimmed… basically some stuff like God Games needs either trimmed back dramatically or expanded dramatically, I don’t think it fully works as is, and there’s not time for extending it in a stage musical- but also a stage musical has the default assumption of everything not being Fully Explained and some things get abstracted or just sketched out, vs an animated production where viewers expect a more complete tapestry). …….also I want BOTH. an anime/animated movie/miniseries (if it was allowed to be extended beyond the 2+ hours of a stage musical or movie, some cut songs could absolutely be added back in, I want that), AND a stage show. Adapted appropriately for each. :D

New York is waitiiiing, for Liaaammm! So Full Speed Ahead! I absolutely wish that Royal Wisdom Burst got finished, or even halfway? I pray always for a Cut Song Saga, at Jorge's convenience. (RWB spoils!) I anticipated Jorge's scream recording more than King/Odysseus or even Charybdis. Not only would we have gotten the royal Ithaca men defending each other in combat, Athena would also have made a triumphant (if not slightly altered) return. (RWB spoils end!) I think Ody had to finish the suitors off without godly help though, to give us that deep sense of satisfaction at the end. I worried that Telemachus would be terrified of his father, but Teleprompter knew that Dad did what was necessary to save his home and family, even if he made one heck of a mess. PS, your camera quality was better than I expected, based on your first caption. It's a good start before you have enough EXP points to upgrade!
