I don’t think Jace would be as worried and bitter if the Dragonseeds weren’t all getting Dragons vastly more powerful than his own. Both Silverwing and Vermithor would rip Vermax to shreds. He’s internally terrified that if betrayed after his mom is gone he won’t have the power to stop them.

So Queen Raenyra with her dragon now has 6 dragons 🐉 with riders at her disposal- Jace baella addam ulf and Hugh on the blacks side The greens 🥬 have 3 dragons 🐉 Vhagar Healanas dragon and the younger brother who’s 16 who we haven’t seen yet has a dragon that has blue flames And rhaena may or may not claim a wild dragon in the eerie We’ll have to see come the finale And then there’s dhaemons dragon as well So if she claims the wild dragon and dhaemon gets his act together and fights for his wife for hers and only hers right to the throne Then the blacks would have 8 full size dragons 🐉 on there side And the greens would still only have 3 So it’s looking a lot better for Queen Raenyra 🥰🥰🥰
