Had he left her at the alter would have been better! Jilted! That could have been a way to go. OR he could have been called up and then returned a year later or have her have to find him behind enemy lines... have him be in a car wreck and loose his memory... but to kill him off was wrong. I’m done. Who the heck cares about Veronica Mars without Logan. Is she going to be with that guy from “New Girl” now? For me, it’s over. Ugh. Not that the guy is bad he is just not Logan.

Ehh, those soap opera twist would have made it worse. The original end showed how much both of them matured even if it wasnt happy ending. BUt i guess there arent happy endings in VM, just heavy traumas.Also worth to mention that Dick officially lost everyone. And only Wallace got his happy ending because he wasnt in the much show.

SO MUCH BETTER!!! I am SO ANGRY about how they ended this season. I will not watch another season. In my mind this is how their story ends. It’s too bad that Mr Thomas was too stupid to realize all the ways he could continue Veronica’s story surrounded by her people and her PERSON, Logan. Such a slap in the face to Jason. The great irony is that this will all blow up in Rob Thomas’s face. I hope he’s pleased with himself.

I loved how they called the episode after Logans prom party confession. It would of been cool if he would of repeated that in the last call with the therapist. The ending was super sad but I’m not disappointed that they ended it that way. Veronica and Logan were always a relationship that was so fragile. I know everyone always wanted them to end up happy and together but for one reason or another it was never possible. It’s crazy to think about the development of their relationship, Veronica fell in love with him deeply and he took some time to finally grow up and love her right by the time that happened though Veronica was a much different woman. A much stronger one. Then towards the end she comes to realize she’s very much still in love with him like when she was younger so she lets her guard down and you see a very different Veronica when she suggests getting married. This whole love story was a roller coaster of emotions but I felt like this was a good way to end it. Their love was definitely EPIC but it wasn’t without it’s big flaws and it did feel very repetitive of sorts that they were always on and off and on the fence about what each truly felt for another. There had to be some kind of ending to that and I thought although super sad it was a good choice. & this was great because as Logan would say: No one writes songs about the ones that come easy.

I know! I get the comments Kristen has made about this not being the Veronica Mars you want but the one you need and it’s like no one needed this. If this had happened in the middle of the season I would have still been really upset but at least it would have meant it was moving the plot forward and it was for a reason. Being in the last nine minutes right after getting married makes it seem like it’s just for the shock value.

Nine months later - They got rid of Logan because his character had become second rate. Also, the writers would need to get rid of Logan if they planned on Veronica continuing to be a detective in season five. Chances are Veronica would have dropped her detective career for Logan.

They deserved to be happy… together. Rob Thomas’ reasons behind his ending were horrendous. Thanks for making the real ending lol. Cause this is what should’ve happened.

Its not because you are with love of your life that everything is perfect (the excuse being that married and in a happy relantionship veronica would not grow). Loving and being in a relationship will always show our dark side, we need to fight urges and the easy way out many and many times. That makes you grow, be more mature, understand what is really important and overall having someone who sees and loves will when you get back home bruised and hurt is the only way of not giving up on life. The producers could have explore the deepth of this beautiful, raw, intimate and complex relationship without the the sad massacre. It definitely was a sad excuse taking the easier and well know way out. In my dreams, the show ended with this scene. Thank you.

No TV finale will probably never make as angry as that one because I actually INVESTED in this franchise by donating to the Kickstarter. I will never understand what Rob Thomas was thinking.

There never has been or ever likely will be one that’s such a slap in the face to fans, ESPECIALLY to fans that are the literal financial reason you even exist. I’ve seen some bad finales but this took the cake. What made it worse for me is both Rob’s and Kristen’s response to fans after, dismissing our upset as just that we thought Veronica needed a man. Really made me dislike both of them and she used to be one of my favorite actresses. I honestly regret investing in the kickstarter after this season. Between the ending and Veronica being totally out of character the whole time. Logan was so true Logan with a beautiful growth from season 1 Logan but Veronica was awful:

I didn’t like how Veronica was a bitch to Logan in most parts of the series. Logan seriously grew up but she seems to have not. But as time went by you could just tell they were soulmates. The s*x scenes were very unnecessary and surprising aswell lol. But overall wasn’t too bad. The ending was sad but I could see why the producer decided to kill the teenage drama.

I disagree. The ending didnt kill itself. Veronica Mars was always suppose to be a dark teen noir show, and Rob wanted to take the show back to it. This relationship did not define the show, it was always the mystery. I didnt continue watching season 1 because of a love story, I continued it because I wanted to know who killed Lilly Kane. Dont get me wrong I liked Logan's character and Jason did a fantastic job, but Logan was always best with his quips and his self destructiveness. I like that Tob evolved him in the movie and season 4, but by doing that, he lost what made Logan Logan. Also I felt that Rob wanted to continue with the show but end Neptune's chapter, and keeping Logan veronica would be stuck in Neptune. I personally cant wait to see where Rob Thomas takes the show, the possibilities are endless. This is my opinion though

Pat Beaudry after 15 years they deserved a happy ending. Getting married was something new in their relationship and would have brought a new spin on them. I don’t believe they were getting stale at all.

Yes, there relationship was getting stale. Like I already commented, Logans character was becoming second rate. And the ending was appropriate since Veronica relationships always tended to crash and burn at the end. She is kind of a hurting heroe. When she finds true love something always goes wrong.
