Thanks for your amazing lesson. The new thing I know about UK when I watch your video that customers have their own bags or they have to pay 5-10 pounds for buying new bags in the grocery store. This is a good way to recycle the bags. I wish in my country there is a law of it.

Hi Anna, it was fun shopping with you 😀 In Australia it's the same, except for two differences: we use metric only; the other difference is "contactless", down here it's called "tap" or "tap and go" or "PayPass", so the checkout person may ask, "Do you want to tap?" Or you can ask, "Can I tap?" Your advice for cheques is spot on as it's rare to use them and it's always best to ask. A p.s.
