You can describe it like that... There are 4 types of senteces on the basis of classification- Classification 1st-assertive,interrogative,imperative,exclamatory and optative *classification2*- affirmative,negative,interrogative and negative.. Lets move to classification 3-according to this we have:simple sen...,modals,tenses,causative, etc... Now let's talk about classification4 for that we have: simple sent...,compound sentences and complex sentences... So thats how you can give a relevant answer..
