I wonder what was going on with that middle window seal on the 37? Had someone done a quick window replacement and used silicone sealant? I've certainly never seen a white window seal before, normally only available in black :)

45s had them, 47775 was another.

Many loco's had them fitted like that and also the 47s in the 1970s were tinted like a lot of loco's...very expensive to replace......many thanks...Mark

We did London that month and holy ramoli whod a thought all those EPBs would soon be history? Last views of old Barnetby before the old station was torn down.

Interesting! I didnt know 56 hauled MGR's worked a reversal into there. I assume it was for the east entrance of West Burton P.S. ?

You went there for this didn't you? Wondered why anyone would go there. It explains why the rails on the crossover were not rusty. Sort of sad but as the town hasn't lost it's rail service, if it's not needed then let it go? Great. Inveigle us in!
