Alright so... Here's my theory: We GOTTA Get SPONGEBOB Back 1.- Spongebob's been dead for about 15 months, according to the employee of the month calendar. 2.- Mr. Krabs is responsible for his death and is hiding the body in his desk. He also removed two of the toilets and now uses them as chairs for his office, where barely anyone ever enters. I doubt that Mr. Krabs would purposefully kill Spongebob (given the fact that he is the best cook in Bikini Bottom and he gets away with paying him pebbles) So I'm assuming that there was an accident in the bathroom. My guess is that Spongebob got hurt while cleaning the bathroom or drowned in the toilets or something. Squidward was the one who found him and was obviously freaked out but committed the mistake of telling Mr. Krabs before calling 911. Spongebob either died instantly or got severely hurt and Mr. Krabs had to end his pain, and Squidward witnessed the whole thing. Squidward wanted Mr. Krabs to do the right thing and pay for the funeral services and face legal consequences due to the poor working conditions of the KK, but Mr. Krabs refused to pay a penny and convinced Squidward that, if he were to do that, they'd close off the KK and they'd both lose their jobs, and reminded him how noisy and annoying the yellow guy was, assuring him that he would be better off without him. After a while, people noticed his disappearance and the Krabby Patties weren't as good as they once were, so people stopped eating there. All they knew is that he was gone and that the Krusty Krab is old news. Now everyone gets their lunch at 7Eleven, and they even sell a knock-off "secret formula" in there. Suddenly, Sqwidward's guilt builds up and he snaps. He wants to get Spongebob Back. Patrick has been trying to get him back too, but due to not knowing the full story of what happened to his best friend, he hasn't had proper closure and is now stuck in an endless loop of hopelessness and confusion. The "strange dimension" is just a look into Squidward's consciousness, where he feels both protected and set up by Mr. Krabs, but in the end, alone. He sees Spongebob crying and smiling at the same time because he remembers him being happy just seconds before the incident, and he knows that it could have been prevented. He could have saved him, but he didn't. He knows that Spongebob, as annoying as he was, didn't deserve to die like that. He sees himself being grilled by Spongebob as a way to get even and temper his own guilt. But this is all a hallucination. A fever dream. Squidward never went to another dimension. When Squidward went into his office, Mr. Krabs knew that he had lost his mind and was no longer reliable, so he did what any cold-blooded seaman would do. In reality, while we were watching the whole hallucination scene, Mr. Krabs murdered and cooked Squidward in a desperate attempt to spice up the Krabby Patties and get back in the market, while getting rid of his only witness. Killing two birds with one stone. We finally see Squidward's ghost, still stuck in his personal hell, the only life he ever knew: being behind the register at the Krusty Krab. The last Krabby Patty ever cooked was the one with the skin of his face. Mr. Krabs left it on the floor to rot as a clue for the police to figure out the puzzle, right before leaving Bikini Bottom. Plankton just got there first.

i just want to let you know that there are 2 more characters you forgot. cheater spongebob and popsicle spongebob. (if he's in the mod) cheater spongebob is a character that plays like cheating expunged. if you press 7 during any song, first the background will turn into an image of spongebob crying in his driving lesson saying "im a cheater", and then it takes you to a song called "anomaly" where cheater spongebob is introduced. popsicle spongebob is mimicing real life spongebob popsicle. he appears in the song "melty monster" and is fighting popislce BF. spongebob popsicle's poses are references to results of spongebob popsicles that different people got and they looked like distorted spongebobs. one even had only one eye.
