Honestly, it's fascinating watching the techniques for this evolve. I'd say yours is probably the best so far; that is, treating this form of ai more like a voice changer than anything. To get the best results, a 'performance' of the material with the characters' vocal tics applied is made. The drunken sailor and stronger than you covers are probably the best showcase of this, the latter especially. Honestly makes me wonder what I could do with the motivation and the know-how to harness this thing.
