SpongeBob's Truth or Square - All Bosses Comparison (DS vs. PSP vs. Wii vs. Xbox 360) [4K]

The PSP and console versions of a couple of the boss fights have the strangest bit of trivia. 1) It's no secret the PSP version handles music in a very strange way. 10-30 second loops, sometimes this isn't the case. The Squid-Bot battle uses the *full* uncut version of BFBB Slide. Like, it even has the intro that was exclusive to the stereo masters. 2) Plankto-Bot on PSP makes you fight Wee-Yellow and Demento again. You can make Wee-Yellow off himself. Go the building on the right, the one that's "blocked off." Wee-Yellow will fall off the building and be one hit KO'd on his way down. 3) On the console versions, the internal names of the mini-bosses were discovered about a month ago. Wee-Yellow is "Keith," Tenderizer is Jose," and Demento is "Lyle."

@@jaykay8426 Interestingly they didn't swap designs. Tenderizer on DS is still purple. As for Demento, concept art found on the PSP and console versions show a purple Demento. And his color scheme matches DS exactly. This is likely due to the DS version clearly being based off concept art and earlier builds of when the console game was Happiness Squared, rather than the final Truth or Square version.

I just beat this game earlier this year on stream playing the Xbox version. I never beat it as a kid and we got rid of it but I bought it on the Xbox one and played the whole game on stream. Gotta say the DS and PSP versions are very weird. The first one has different music and what seems like longer fights. The second one is stuck in a weird close up camera angle. Never played it on the Wii but it seems similar to the Xbox version. Hadn't realized these fights were so long. Fun fact: 99 is the health limit. I tried going higher but once you reach 99 you can't pick up any more health. It acts as trying to pick up underpants when you have a full pair.

The DS version is a completely different game, made by different people, just so you know. The PSP version is just a worse version of the one for the XBox/Wii though.

I actually had Truth or Square for the Wii, but the disc was really badly scratched and once I would pick up the big arms power-up in the first level, the game would crash. It was always there. Never anywhere else in the level. Only when I picked up the power-up did the game finally decide to give out.
