Tbh when he screams it almost looks like claymation more than anything else. I think the weirdness of spongebob comes from him being flatter than the original model. It looks like his dimples and holes in his body look more drawn on in this game unfortunately.

I've got to be honest, I don't like the change they made to the Sandy & Patrick bot boss fights. Before, the camera would be next to you as you look up in awe of the giant enemy you have to face. Now the camera scales the whole arena making it feel smaller and less grand. Plus the arena looks far more cramped than the original

I’m pretty excited for this, it was a big part of my childhood as well. However, I don’t know how I feel about the presentation of the boss fights. It looks and feels a bit too sterile compared to the original versions. Maybe it has something to do with the camera being so far back and everything looking a bit rubbery. If we could control the camera and the guy in this trailer was just zooming it far back for people to see, then I’d be fine with that.
