Because of the difference in load times between specific disc drives, we actually decided to allow people to just rip the game straight to the hard drive and run it off of that. Much more consistent that way.

I learned 2 major things watching this. 1.) This is one of the coolest speedruns I've ever seen, and 2.) Rehydrated really improved the graphics way more than I remembered lol. the bug that removed the hand completely is like my childhood dream lol because I always wanted to just walk to jellyfish fields or downtown in the background even though it's just a small scale "in the distance" type of thing (which is something I loved about this game.)

Special note on the puzzle at 15:30. The solution works because of the following: Each button press rotates three towers, hence when all buttons are pressed once, each tower eventually goes through 3 rotations (on, off, then on again).

Apparently there is a trick that speedrunners found out quite a while ago where you could smudge (as in literally rub your finger on) certain parts of the game's disc, and doing so would make it much easier to do certain tricks, although this isn't allowed in official speedruns. EDIT: Thanks for the info, @lemonthefiend ! This trick is allowed in official speedruns, look at the reply for more about this.

I found some glitches in the game: 1) ISW - Idle Snail Walk. 2) BTS - Bugged Toilet Sceen. (the lines in the upper and lower *the middle doesn't need the line*) |-------------------------| To get the ISW glitch: 1) Find the leaf jumper. 2) Stay in the middle of it. 3) Mash the JDS on the leaf jumper. 4) Done. Now you have the ISW glitch. |-------------------------| To get the BTS glitch. 1) Find a toilet. 2) When you get the base cutsceen of it. 2.5) Mash the SC button (as much as you can) (precisely in the last line of of SC button) 2.5.5) walk in circles on it. (go to it, and out of it) 3) If works = you did it, if not = try again. 4) Done. Now you have the BTS glitch. |-------------------------| P.s.: It only works if you found them in their position. JDS and SC = Jump Down Smash - Skip Cutsceen. Just added D in JDS to be a bit easier to know/use. IDK if it works on old consoles. But! I did it in BFBB:R. You can try though.!
