SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab (PS2) - Part 4

Alaskan Belly Trouble
Continuing off when SpongeBob drove over the pit, he falls through a long, narrow tunnel dodging obstacles. He reaches the bottom of the pit and is eaten by an awaiting Alaskan Bull Worm. Although disgusted, SpongeBob finds the inside of the worm to be intriguing. He encounters Old Man Jenkins who is building an airplane to escape the bowls of the worm. SpongeBob decides to help and explores the area to find a village under attack by parasites. He rescues the Chief, many of his followers, and his wife (an ironing board). The Chief however finds that his wife is not "pretty-pretty" and gives it to SpongeBob so he can use it for the plane's wings. SpongeBob also rumages through a junkpile for spare parts. He then meets an inventor who is in a dilemma because his Jellyfish power cells were stolen by the same parasites. SpongeBob retrieves the cells (and whitnesses the inventor's invention) and finds a propellor for the plane. Spongebob and Jenkins are ready to take off but their flight is delayed due to vibrations in the belly. SpongeBob heads to the rear to investigate and learns that a giant chilli can is causing pain in the worm's belly. SpongeBob removes it and returns to Jenkins so they can take off. As they are flying through the worm's throat, the worm closes it's mouth, Spongebob wonders if he can make it.

This world is the hell of this game, it is really fun at first cause the idea for the inside of an alaskan bull worm being a lvl seems awesome. But by the time you get to the scientist that makes you get the power cells, you just start to wonder when it will end, still my childhood game though and I still play this.

this was always the glitchiest stage for me, there was never a second where the camera wasn't stuck on something or when i wasn't floating in mid-air or when it was impossible to collect a sleepy seed.

I haven't played this game but I have played BFBB and Pac Man world 3, and I hell know this level has that blitz games seal that I recognize from pmw3, cause the level ambiance and designing is the thing they excel at despite that other game being kinda mediocre.

When I was young, about six or seven years old, everything about this level used to creep the hell out of me. Everything from the ambience, the music, the concept, everything. It took me many years to finally come back to this and play it and I finally ended up enjoying the rest of the game afterward.

Glad i wasnt the only one,had this on the gamecube back in the day,i could never pass this level because of its creepyness and the idea of being in that thing that jumped out the water while spongebob was falling scared the crap out of me,so i never passed this disturbing level until a couple of years later when I finally was able to beat this level on the playstation 2 and being finally able to enjoy the upcoming levels...this level was so trippy and frustrating

Same here I litterly only played this game and Battlefront 2, Battle for Bikini Bottem and I 100% them at the age of 4 God dam... It took me around 4 months to beat a 12 hour content filled game where I played daily and still got 100% because what else am I to do when I got home from pre-school! No joke like really.

This was the bane of my existence while playing this game. Body exploration has always creeped me out. So when I see this in a SpongeBob game of all things, it left me unsettled. And I know that the show did it at least once. At the beginning, the music is all comical, but once you get to the final area, it gets more serious and depressing. It’s creepy. Not to mention it’s DESGUSTANG This level is also hated for how long it is. Next to diesel dreaming, this this the longest level in the game. No one wants to stay in the same level for too long. 😅

I just did the math for Spongebob's free fall and if we start from when he fell in diesel dreaming till he lands in the bullworm ( counting Patrick and plankton's levels being about 1 hour and 30 minutes) it would be about 1 hour and 35 minutes in total. So using physics (and I might have done this wrog feel free to correct me) spongebob falls at about 15.52923 m/s² and the depth of his fall is a massive 88,498m! (290,347ft and 9.228in) thats deeper than the mariana trench! ( yes I know this is all a dream but still thats way too deep unless diesel dreaming takes place in the sky and Alaskan belly trouble take place at the bottom of the trench) Like I said I might have done my math wrong feel free to fact check but its impressive that spongebob managed to sleep through that all!
