When I play War Thunder nowadays, I'm usually playing solo for video footage, but fellow content creator OddBawZ was kind enough to reach out and ask me if I wanted to knock out a few matches with him. He's always given me the impression he's a chill guy, so I said yes. We ended playing for a while so this is more of a funny moments compilation than a proper video, but I hope you guys enjoy it nonetheless. Even when you're getting certified Gaijin moments back to back, playing with a friend makes it much more bearable.

@@neovenatorgamer8778 I've been playing since October of last year I don't think I have enough experience 😂 but truly the biggest problem with it is just the starter ammunition for every swedish tank I get it, it's like the annoyance level of I got to actually be and have some distance between me and the enemy for the shell to do something because there's a high chance the Shell's just going to rip right through them and not do anything or only knock out one crew member especially when I shoot them in the turret and I take out something like the loader or the commander instead of killing the Gunner

Don't keep pushing. If you're net enjoyment is negative, do yourself a favour and quit. WT can be fun, but more often than not it's not fun, and if you're part of the people who end up with a negative net enjoyment you'd be doing yourself a disservice to push on. Speaking from experience.

It's not that the game can't be fun, it's that more often than not it's very much not fun, and it's generally because of Gaijin, yes. The more I played the more I realised the few fun moments weren't worth it, at least for me.

I would love to see the Chilean M-60 too. The Chilean army was in a pretty desperate situation in the late 70 and early 80s. Three hostile neighbors and and very limited capacity to get new equipment due to the US military embargo, so clever solutions like these were all we could do. The HVMS was also fitted to our M24s funnily enough, thanks IMI!

The game is fun when you don't have to think about repair cost, Silver lion, vehicle grind and volumetric. But just playing with your squad. Coordinating, giving CAS, and etc especially when you have the long match

3:14 you hit just a shell, the IS-2 uses 2 piece ammo so it won't (its actually just super unlikely, but can explode) ammorack the tank, its the same thing on any tank with 2 piece ammo but for example the Tiger II 10.5 and IS-2s can still get ammoracked because the shell itself is APHE, solid AP or APDS/FSDS is completely inert

yeah i'm sure its all it takes to stop a full AP shell and its burning tracer. Half a piece of ammo, don't worry about solid shot being either torture or having broken deflection angles.

@@random_tech_adept6117 M79 shot has 132mm of pen at that distance versus the 100mm of the IS2's turret's back. This would have tore apart those ammo and filled the turret with spalling and wrecked the crew apart. And this is after the gamewide nerf to AP shells (weird they tend to be starter rounds). Hell, this video gave me strong vibes of CC discovering a hell they never went through being forced to use solid shot because of a bug.

Notice how if you hit the sabot rounds and not the charges on t-72,t-64,t-90 and t-80 autoloaders, it counts the sabot round with zero flammable materials in it as something that could cause an ammo rack. They will change shell speed based on temperature but can't think about this for more than a second. Real great gajin

I like playing with a friend where we don’t always mutually support each other the entire map and we just have casual conversations. It makes it relaxing in its own way. Coincidentally this video shows it. To me, there’s at least a few different ways to make WT enjoyable and this way is by far one of my favorites. More than sticking by your buddy’s side constantly and taking the game seriously.

The one thing I ask for from gaijin (besides br decompression and bug fixes and stuff and everything else from the game to be made not dog doo doo) is a decent map. The horrible sightlines are incredibly apparent when you enter arcade and see the enemy spawn as soon as you spawn yourself.
