Gaijin has added another funky German prototype tank to War Thunder with the Zerstorer 45. It is somewhat similar to the Kugelblitz, being based on the Panzer 4, but has no armor and four 30mm cannons instead of two. It's great at shredding both CAS and tanks, so it was a lot of fun for me.

It's simple: Whatever Gaijin says or does, it bears no meaning 2-3 years later. Not gonna add XYZ? Gets added 3 years later anyway. Make some changes to a vehicle? Add another years later that doesn't follow the rules. My favourite: They make T-34 driver hatch a weakspot, then 4 years later they change it back based on some bug report. They have honestly no clue what is going on in with their own game.

To comment on the squeaking at 1:44. "the squeaking noise comes from the long-barreled Panzer IV's tendency to overload it's front end while steering. I've also noticed this exact thing in IL-2 Tank Crew. Dude you don't even need scouting to get this kind of bullshit done. A single assist is often enough to spawn in a plane with bombs, especially in uptiers. You don't need to use a light tank or have scouting. You could do it in a heavy tank. As it is right now, planes are beyond easy to spawn in.

Cromwells and Comets are underrated gems. They're medium tanks that play a lot like light tanks because they're fast, have decent armor pen, and practically no armor. I do wish they properly fixed the Comet's APDS because historically, it's powerful enough to punch through the UFP of a Panther.

(and if they added some of the other cool american AA platforms that exist.... i mean hell you go from 2 50s to a cannon and 2 50s to 4 50s, gaijin doesnt know how to AA... and russia is just OP in general because russian company the guns fire as a duplex auto system, the first gun firing leads into the second gun firing in a 12 12 12 12 cadence... but gayjoob somehow has the guns reload separately as well as fire separately, leading to its guns getting desynced and just not working properly.

They should make ground tanks only (other than the nuke), then make a combined arms game, where all three types of vehicles can play. Like there could be an air battle with planes trying to destroy bases and provide ground support for tanks, naval tries to also provide ground support and eliminate the enemy ships, and tanks going around doing their thing. There’d have to be maps made for this but I think it would be awesome.

Spookston, you should totally play the STB-1/2 (I don't remember what they named it anymore). It's like a Leopard 1 but the armor can actually bounce some APHE rounds, and it gets the funny suspension. It also gets a dual-plane stabilizer, so that's pretty nice.
