I was pleasantly surprised by this tank when I first got it even though at first I thought it was just another boring m4. Got my first 11 kill game in this beast, on the Stalingrad map, by camping on the B point where it dips down into the hole. But because of the fantastic gun depression, I could peek up over the edge and snipe people as they approached. After a few kills I had to fully climb out of the hole, to engage further and bounced shots I didn't think would, all while trying to find somewhere to penetrate the armour of my attacker, before taking them out. Ended up surviving till the end of the match with one spawn. My adrenalin levels were through the roof. One of the best experiences playing low tier as a new player I ever had.

you should try out the 15cm big sig if you haven't done so yet, it's actually such a fun tank. it has the brummbar's HE shell (same pen as the m109), an 11 second reload (which is insane i swear it used to be something like 40 seconds), and the comedic bonus of low-velocity HE shells i genuinely think you could take it up to 6.0 and still do well, maybe even get a nuke, but if you want to instead have a blast vaporizing lower tier tanks, for some ungodly reason it sits at a br rating of 1.0

Can i ask why? is it that bad, or actually pretty good? I used to play on ps4 with controller but since i switched to pc M/K i dont really mis it at all.Having said that there are still lots of games i play with a controller. But in shooters you are usually disadvantaged using a controller at least when it comes to precision and time to aim so i tend to use M/K

Hey Spooks. That marking was for the tank ”War Daddy II” of the 1st armoured division, G comp. That is how they looked during in the North African campaign. Not sure if it was during Operation Torch, but it should have been some time during the M4 Sherman’s baptism of fire. You can tell that it is a very early Sherman due to the VVSS suspension without the skid plate and the return roller in the middle, similar to the M3 Grant/Lee

@@blitzkrieg8776 Heat buff is cool, but it's general FEEL of it what matters. You are fast and it feels like it. Armor is not enough for most stuff, but somewhat reliable against autocannons. Similar feeling go to CA Lorraine, but CA Lorraine doesn't have the power of extremely responsive cannon with angles wide enough to be a horrible casemate LEARNING material. And that reverse in combination of smoke launchers is just chef's kiss.

So that tank is actually iconic! Specifically the paint job. That is the War Daddy 2, a tank led by Lafayette G Pool. He was a Texan giant who spearheaded a ton of armored missions in Tunisia. He gave his original War Daddy tank the same paint job, before it was destroyed. (Without a man lost I might add!) Pool is one of the most highly decorated tank commanders with an incredible 12 confirmed tank kills and 258 armored vehicles destroyed in just about 80 days!

For the PVKV a lot of people consider it bad because they only use the APDS round but it's a trap. The APHE has 88mm of pen if I remember correctly, really decent for it's BR and it slaps. It needs to be playing full APHE with only around 5 APDS in case of heavy armor and you will see that it is a really good tank
