@@jimmydesouza4375 Im not an expert so take what I say with a grain of salt. It's basically the tank's ability to keep power to both tracks while both are still moving at different speeds. Instead of the inner track completely stopping to make a turn, it just rotates slower and the excess power is diverted to the outer track to rotate it faster. This allows the tank to actually turn much more smoothly while still moving forward and retaining speed, instead of the inner track just locking up and killing the ground speed so you pivot on it. Biggest thing to note is that NATO tanks have it, and specifically Russian tanks don't. That is the entire reason it's not in the game, even though it was present on tanks manufactured over 70 years ago lmao. They will never add something that isn't a pure unfair advantage to... a "certain nation"... as evidenced by spall liners. They have been present on Nato tanks since the Leopard 2a4 for example. Only added now because the first Russian tank that has it finally got added, so the rest of us are finally allowed to have it.

This is unrelated, but I think it'd be cool if they experimented with the "Hull break" mechanic again, but instead of it working like overpressure, it works differently. It would be there to prevent AA trucks or armored cars from tanking 122mm shells when hit in the engine or something because no matter how good of a mechanic you have or how ever many spare parts you got, you just ain't repairing that big of a hole in your car. It might be a hot take but I dislike the idea of light vehicles walking off like 152-155mm AP shells so casually like they just didn't get hit at all.

T-34E-STZ is a sleeper tank. It has increased frontal armor and will bounce panzer IV rounds when angled. With the 96 pen round really never leaves you feeling weak. Dropped a 20 kill game with it. You should definitely give it a try.

The eyes thing is something dating back to the first world war, and is an insignia on one of the RTR squadrons. The main issue with top tier imo, and the reason it so quickly devolves into spawn camping is that gaijin refuses to give us maps bigger than 2km by 2km. They have them, they just refuse to put them into rotation, and they constantly take out any bump that even hints at taking long range shots.

From what I've noticed blast doors work ONLY if you penetrate them, like if you shoot abrams ammo from a side without piercing blast doors tank will explode but when you pierce blast doors and damage ammo from the front of the turret only ammo dissapears nothing more happens XD

The "cage" part of the "cope cage" is the critical element. Many improvised covers shown early in the war were slapped right above key hatches and blocking already limited visibility. Soldiers wised up on this - now they are equally dirt cheap and slapdash, but spaced so far away from the tank it's more like a cope tent than a cope cage, making the vehicle visible from a mile away. The new type are the ones you see getting hit by drones the most since the loss in discretion far outweighs any gain in protection.

That F-16 kill with an apfsds was impressive. I wonder whether the main penetrator or the sabot petals hit him. This also made me wonder that combining an apfsds round with a canister shot would be viable or not. Here I mean to replace the sabot petals with a sabot that doubles as a canister, containing metal balls. Such a sabot canister hybrid should not degrade the performance of an apfsds penetrator much.

Real sabot open up and fall away at no more than 100m. Real sabot also has minimized mass. Mainly because energy not going into pushing the rod are not contributing to making enemy going boom. The newest sabot design is not even metal anymore. Iirc, it is sort of composite mix, to minimized the weight.

My idea is to have an apfsds round that is optimised for anti-tank purposes, but also has a secondary close range anti-personnel effect in case of emergency. The point here is to have such a canister sabot that does not impede the performance of the main penetrator compared to the regular petal sabots. The canister sabot does not even needs to be heavier then the petals simply because infantry are soft targets. Even ceramic or plastic pellets would have a deadly effect with propellant quantity of an apfsds round.

Recently, I researched the Conway. It is the one tank I have played that at stock was very good, barring lack of spare parts of course. Can you take a look at the British 7.0 Conway? You get a 400mm++ pen gun with good hesh to boot. The turret armors make it surprisingly survivable as well.

Thanks for saying the T-90M isn't as gamebreaking as people make it out to be. As a British and French main I've spent over a thousand hours using solid shot and low-calibre APDS which is the pre-APFSDS rank equivalent of shooting enemies with spall liner :) Nerd note: 3:41 Not a single Challenger 1 was lost in combat, likewise for the CR2 until just a few months ago in Ukraine. This was mostly because of how and who the British were fighting rather than the Challenger series being exceptional in some way imo.

You should try the AML-90, it's very underrated as a gremlin tank, I've gotten some of my highest kill counts with that thing. Just flank, scout, and blap.

No CR1 were destroyed in Operation Desert Storm but one CR2 was destroyed in an friendly fire incident in Irag in 2003, other then that incident only one CR2 has been lost due enemy attack since it's deployment in 98.
