to be fair, it was because the stars aligned for him. he found cover that he could shoot over and cover his weakspot with, enemies continued rushing down the same road he slaughtered everybody else on, there wasn't a tank like the su152 that could obliterate him frontally, and he wasn't flanked or CAS'd otherwise the thing is fat, kind of slow and pretty easy to kill if you know where to shoot and turretless. seems 'mid' in the sense of 'average,' not bad

I'm not sure for the pz3 but the pz 4 G doesn't have side skirts, and the H can have the ostketten with the sides skirts, leaving us with the premium pz4 J ( tech tree one only has turret skirts ((finland has that one)) ) and idk about the pz3 M has it has side skirts too

@Spookston. You have no Sideskirts, because you have the wider Tracks equipped. Equipping the "Ost-Ketten" (East-Tracks) often removes the Skirts, becaude the tracks are bigger/wider.

I remember being so proud when I grinded this out in an event and finally got it as my first premium. While the front plate was annoying to get used to having a Panthers cannon almost a full BR below the first Panther (I had it before the VK was added) is an absolute godsend, and having it in an Uptier makes it still viable. One of my favorite tanks in my premium lineup for sure and have had several great matches with it

Day 27 of telling spookston to play the IT1. its a ATGM launcher on the t62 chassis, it has decent-ish mobility, the turret is squished. You can hide behind cover and shoot ATGM over the cover like a gremlin and you overpressure tanks (tho it can be rare, but it does happen without you realizing) and its MG is really werid. Also it has a cool reload animation.

It's cool but it's really trash, for one; you can be Hull down but the orlikans aphe will fuse on your sights which have to be expose if you want to see over cover and the only time you'll overpressure with the missile is if the target is literally made of paper

4:20 The HE Filler in the Pzgr 39 does A LOT of work. I can oneshot most things that aren't either the size of a Maus or have more than 5 crew (that i can pen) with that thing. That goes for both the long 75 and the Medium one on the Panzer 4, plus the long and short 50mm guns which use the same Ammo, although those do less damage because of a lack of spalling. Also the Pzgr 39 just got a lot better because of the thing with the Solid Shell parts for low HE APHE shells.

fun fact: the jagdpanzer 4 has a shottrap just below the gun, so whenever you see one, aim for the gun! you either take it out or bounce down right behind the transmittion and nuke the entire crew (somehow works with 75mm AP too, one shot a jagd with an ARL 44 (ACL-1). Killed every jagd i found with that one shottrap it's crazy ).

Spooky you have Ostketten equipped (fatty tracks) which removes skirts from some vehicles, the Panzer IV/70s both cannot have skirts and ostketten. This is because the skirts are directly bolted while Panzer IVs and Stugs have mounting racks, which have a noticeable gap.

The tanks I don't expect to use until after the spawn campers have arrived will have their smoke shell loaded as the first round. That way, there is a chance I can blind the camper(s) right away & escape from the spawn area.

The reason certain tanks with side spaced armor no longer show up is due to the extra-wide tracks. If you disable the extra-wide tracks and enable the spaced armor, it will appear

this used to be the only long 75mm gun with APCR (regular 70v didn't have it). Because 75mm APCBC has problem dealing with head peaking murican HT front face, APCR is needed. Gaijin basically hided it due to the balance issue.
