Fun fact; This vehicle was in service until 1970, the chassis of this is based off of the Strv m/41 tank, which in itself is based on the Pz 38(t), which was made in 1938

Speaking of autocannons, I just played some of the rank 1 german autocannon vehicles last night. Turns out they added mag replenishment 1 round at a time on points, so if you are on a point, and not too trigger happy, you can shoot indefinitely without reloading. Not sure when this was added, but its awesome. Can also replenish partial belts in the gepard. both of which are awesome features

Yeah, got like 6 plane kills with R3 T20 one game by just sitting on the cap, firing 2 or 3 rounds in their general direction knowing that CAS players can't pass a "free" kill and just waited till they try to strafe me. And since turret is remote controled, I just stayed behind the house on cap 90% of the time.

I do the same shit in the crusader AA II. Fire a few warning shots, they come to strafe, their 12.7 cannot pen the turret anywhere, easy kill for me.

I've never understood why they built the Namers out of the in-service Merkava 4s, instead of pulling the older 1s and 2s out of storage, repowered with newer power packs to keep up with more modern tanks. But hey, I'm just an American who's never been to war, so what do I know?

I do still think it would be cool if they turn those older hulls into SPAs or something, they've already got a big open space at the back, which is perfect for an artillery piece, and the whole point of artillery is to be back behind the front lines, so the older hulls would still have more than enough protection. They might need more modern power packs to keep up with the newer equipment, but that would be so awesome.

Someone actually brought this on my 10.3 match. Dude was shooting the side of my Vilkas on a tight corner, and hilariously wasnt penetrating it because I was angled while also reparing my main gun, so he had to push a little further by reversing the tank towards me. I fired my Vilkas' secondary machine gun on its side, and it was able to penetrate the side armor with ease.
