3BM25 APFSDS is really bad....the Dart for the Aubl HVG 60mm gun is slightly better. 129mm pen at armour angled at 60 degrees is atrocious. Even the M735 from the XM-1 outclasses the 3BM25

The issue with loading in is because youre most likely running the standard game client and it automatically switched (for some reason) to the super HD 4k textures client, trying to download all 93 gigs of it. I had it happen to me when the event first came out, switched it back to the standard client and it never crashed afterwards. also im loving the live commentary videos

I had the same problem, also had the crashing problem. I had to delete a lot of files from the folder, idr what they were, it was something.something.something, like, had 2 file extensions. deleted those, switched launcher to HD, then did a repair from launcher and its all good now. weirdly, if i didn't click off the first error message, I could still play the game.

@@TheRaptorOfGaming Yeah, if you're running the game on steam, make sure to pick the manual game launcher option (if not then just launch the launcher normally) and then look on the bottom left of the launcher for the client version.

I don't remember the exact error I was getting, but one solution I found online was to delete all those files in the war thunder install folder, then, from the manual launcher, do a repair install, and its worked perfectly since then. May or may not be your issue though. But a repair install may help even if it isn't.

the main points for this tank is the three axis stabilizer and secondary cannon with auto loader, all these things are great enough but the unrealistic stabilizer is disappointing overall

my favorite part is they initially advertised it as having it, so i bought it becuase i thought it'd be useful, but then they choose to lie and say the engine can't do it, and edit the store page, but not give anyone refunds. Even though i've never used it in a battle i'm not allowed to get a refund despite being lied to and even proving to them they advertised that feature.

The problem with the TURM III not having a 3-plane stabilizer isn't that it would make a big difference, it's that Gaijin advertized and still does on its store page that it would in fact have the 3-plane stabilizer, and have stated they're not going to do anything about it, which is just false advertisement and scummy. It's just more fuel for the "Gaijin are lying scummy bastards" fire.

I think I had a similar problem Spook, mine never loaded sometimes and it would crash on loading screens too. It was always like a 30% chance to crash or freeze. But it no longer does that since the update so I wish I could help.

I think the two main things balancing the turm-3 are the autoloader being helpful but not a machinegun and the puma forcing the br, when you say how the puma and begleitpanzer went up thats functionally the turms t and the rest of 8.0 going up for a while after. Personally I think they aught to give the turms-t apds in the autocannon and put it at 8.3 so it can basically be a chad bmp.

It's funny how these are considered just "a tiny bit too powerful" when french vehicles 0.3 BR below would kill to have even some of its features. French autoloader at 7.7 : No Stabilizer, much slower, much worse gun depression, no autocannon and only solid shot as ammo. Upside? Slightly faster RoF (4s instead of 5). They need rebalancing so badly in this current IFV meta.

The game is a little broken. Bombs and large HE shells going off next to you and doing nothing is just one example. Even survived a Pe 8 bomb yesterday. Degrading performance when you change vehicles is also something new. Says I have FPS of 140 - 150 and then frame drops and stutters for no reason. Just a little broken. The tank? So easy to kill that I did not even notice it making an impact. GG

The three-axis stab not being in isn't a massive deal gameplay wise. It IS however a massive deal because it's by far the most unique feature of the tank and one that THEY ACTIVELY ADVERTISED in the devblog for it. Don't advertise a unique feature of a vehicle if you won't program it to have that in game, that's just false advertising.

Fhe M163 is definitely not very fun against tanks, in fact its absolute garbage for the most part. Gaijin somehow made the vulcan do no damage against modules even though its hundreds of AP and HE 20mm rounds hitting something which would absolutely destroy tracks, barrels, optics etc IRL

I downloaded the 4k pack with the launcher, and I had multiple crashes, and hang ups like the first week after the update. The Game is stable for me now, but there is still something going on. Usually I have 140-120 fps, but after 2h of playing, the fps drop to 60 and I have to restart the game to fix the problem. I guess there is some Memory leak going on there. Also I have started playing naval since the Update so I cant tell if it was a thing before, but every second match, a salvo of shells just sticks in the air.
