Rocket vehicles like the Sturmtiger are very popular among WT players, but there's one that you don't often see in battles. The BM-13N Katyusha might just be the most exotic rocket arty vehicle in the game (except for the RBT-5, but that's more of a hybrid). Given it isn't great at destroying tanks, there might be a good reason for that.

At least, this lineup would be effective. The calliope and the M26 T99 can really stomp because they have gun depression, usable armour and they have a gun in addition to the rockets. Plus, they have a working turret that can eliminate the need for precise positioning to hit the enemy.

It’s called that because it IS the 120S. The M60-2000 is an entirely different tank that people mistakenly think is the 120S. What we’re getting is the 120S, not the M60-2000.

@@ZzVinniezZ The M60-2000 was a different upgrade proposal for the M60. It’s essentially an M60A1 with additional armor installed around the turret and the fire control system of the M1A1. It retained the 105mm gun of the M60. The 120S, meanwhile, is what we’re getting in-game: an M60A1 hull with an entire M1A1 turret plopped on top. KZbin really likes deleting links, but if you’d like I could try to find a way to share pictures of the actual M60-2000.

the only reason the BM-13N is so rare is because the event it was featured occurred during a holiday so nobody was online, and the task was to get an Ace with the mini rocket tank, which fires one of the worst rockets in game. This was before overpressure/hullbreak too. Oh, and the required vehicle was a premium that got price hiked right before the event. So the ONLY reason the BM-13N was actually achievable was because there were so many people in the crappy rocket tank that mixed battles allowed you to kill other rocket farmers and everyone not in the event were using SPAA to stem the flood of rocket farmers. Add Katyusha to the list of 'vehucles players want to obtain but gaijin says no give me $75 for premium copy pasted vehicles'

I believe the 20 might be the worst vehicle in the game. Slow, massive, immobile, weak autocannon with HVAP, can be 50caled anywhere, MILANs never fail to let me down. Its astonishing. its the only vehicle i have a 0.5 KD in.

@@connivingkhajiit oh trust me i've been trying to get decent footage for WEEKS but no dice. Its like once you get a funny kill everyone immediately knows your exact coordinates and starts homing.

​@@Vaiski25 It can somewhat but the turret traverse is pretty slow for keeping up with aircraft, plus limited gun elevation. You really gotta get the gun velocity down and hope they fly into your line of fire, plus you’re a giant target so if you mess up they win. G6 can work but they proxy fuze trigger is small aswell as how far you can turn the turret, on top of this a long reload. It does have good elevation so its really best used against dive bombers but you gotta pray that you nail them before they get any shots off at you because otherwise you’re dead. Bosvark is decent. The 37s are really good against planes, if you hit them they're basically done for. However its a big target so you have to play it sneaky to avoid getting strafed and if they drop a bomb near you its over. the cab of the truck also limits the angle the gun can shoot. Best strat is finding a building as you can have your turret crew peaking out while the cab guys remain in cover. Skink is a mixed bag, you get great armor to defend against most aircraft cannons but the polstens do surprisingly little damage, if I had a penny for every "hit" I've got I could buy Gaijin and fix the game. Ystervark is somewhat underrated. You get an R3 gun so you can be a gremlin against tanks and its a much smaller target/more hideable than most SA vehicles. This does come at the cost of a more compact, smaller crew so if a plane does spot you then you best hope theres some overhead cover and he doesnt have bombs otherwise you’re dead. It also shares the Bosvark's issue of the gun cab limiting shooting angles but even worse so.

Another rare sight in ground RB is the crusader mk.3, a great light tank with a powerful 6 pounder gun, good mobility and a low profile. A vehicle you should definitely play because I've been desperately trying to get you to for months now

I got into a 20 minute artillery dual with katushya while driving a type 75 mlrs. It was cross map as we lobbed rocket after rocket moving meters at a time to avoid counter battery. Neither of us got eachother but accidentally got passing opponents who didnt notice the rocket barrages

Back when Gaijin kind of had an idea of what interesting but also achievable events were. You were given a test drive for 10 matches of the BM-8-24 and all you had to do was get 7 kills in one match with it and that's it. Got mine on my 7th match and the last 2 kills were aircraft lol
