Walking along the freeway and underneath the fence.. A little sketchy !! The accompanying spooky music was great !!
@adventuringoutdoorswitheric2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it is kind of sketchy getting there but once you're in the canyon it's amazing. I really appreciate you checking out this video thank you.

Not the best start to the hike but real nice when you got to the canyon and I can see why they named it Spooky Canyon. I would not fancy walking through there on a night, turning a corner and seeing Chucky of Jason standing there lol. Cheers Alan
@adventuringoutdoorswitheric2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's definitely not the best hike getting to it, but once you're there, it's the whole other story. Yeah, there's no way I want to do this at night. I don't want to see Chucky, Jason, or Michael Myers, LOL. Thank you so much, Alan. I really appreciate it!

It could be a little spooky at night with only a torch Eric!👀👍👍
@adventuringoutdoorswitheric2 жыл бұрын
Yes, that could be totally spooky, lol. Thanks for watching Anthony!

I am glad you did this one again. I remember when you did your first video on Spooky Canyon waaaay back when. It was awesome then and awesome now. Just kept waiting for an Mountain Lion to come walking around the corner. Great video Eric.

Yeah, I've been meaning to come back and refilm this place! I'm actually really glad I did because this video is doing really well! Actually better than any other video I ever put out before. I hit 286 views in 14 hours! I have quite a few videos that don't even have that many views and they've been out for years! LOL. Thank you so much Lance I really appreciate it.

It is kind a spooky to hike there, I would feel trapped. Very cool canyon 😂

Well if I did this at night I would definitely be spooked out for sure LOL. Thank you so much for watching my friend I'm glad you enjoyed it.

awesome hike Eric, the entry location was interesting and the canyon is so beautiful. Spooky, a little bit but very beautiful. That part that is your favorite is sure amazingly shaped. Wow. I see why that is your favorite with the lighting. Very narrow passage right there. I remember when we were inside one of those slot canyons in Canyonlands, there was a place that I couldn't get up, Tim did it and I was down saying that I couldn't get back down if I went up. So I know what you mean.

Thank you so much, Nicole! Yeah, I'm very happy that this video is doing extremely well, and it's only been out for 2 days! Yeah, I've been coming here for years ever since I first discovered it. It's cool because I can add it to another hike on the same trailhead. So definitely, next time you're out here, you should come check this one out. Much appreciated my friend!

Hi Eric that was gorgeous. That orange grey colour I loved and I know you don't find it spooky I actually did haha. I think it's kind of other worldly :) I agreed with your choice of what you thought was the best part 👍That was great, thank you . See you soon :)

I live in the Southwest, so I have hiked through many slot canyons. I know they're not very common where you're from, so I can see why they could be a little on the spooky side. Yeah the little tiny Canyon that I had to squeeze into is definitely the best one. So glad you enjoyed the video my friend and thank you so much for watching!

amazing how nature created this cannon just wide enough for you to walk in, might not be spooky but you picked the right music for the video to give that impression, looks to be a cool place to hike, question is this a canon known to the locals and not advertised since getting there is not a real trail and the fence looked like it was there so people wouldn't wander into the canon area, I'm glad you took the time to go and film thanks Eric
@adventuringoutdoorswitheric2 жыл бұрын
Well, some locals know about it; not all locals know about it. I know people who hike regularly and have never been here before. But then there's a bunch of other people who have been here before. I originally found this trail years ago on birdandhike.com. But, I do know this trail is also on alltrails.com. One time, I took friends to Spooky Canyon, and we ran into a park ranger along the way. I told him where we were going, no problem. We're not doing anything illegal. There are no keep out signs or anything like that in the canyon. Thank you so much for watching Craig.

Not spooky, cool... except that next to last one felt spooky 😁 Weird to think that that part of the country is so dry & knowing that this slot was carved by water. Thanks for sharing, Eric

Yes, it still rains heavily once in a while, but not very often! I'm glad you enjoyed the Canyon because it's really neat! Thanks, Ana!

Well. I didn't see any ghosts, so for me, not that spooky! Glad you knew how to get here as it doesn't seem like you would know it unless you knew it!
@adventuringoutdoorswitheric2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I haven't seen any aberrations or anything in the Spooky Canyon, so we're good there, LOL. You just have to do this hike one time, and you'll know how to get there after that. Thank you so much for watching Josh.

There is parking just past the canyon entrance. No need to walk on the shoulder

Can anybody tell me, how long is this hike?
@adventuringoutdoorswitheric12 күн бұрын
It's roughly about a mile and a half to 2 miles. It's pretty short and easy.
