I used to sleep walk and stare at my sisters, eyes open, but sleep walking. I would walk all over my house and do circles around their beds. I discovered later on I have celiac disease so whenever I eat gluten, it gives me crazy vivid dreams 😂 that cause me to move in my sleep. SO Dameon may be possessed by a gluten demon.

I was just about to comment this. Especially when she says she fully wakes up and is then up at like 2am that's me every time I have a sleep paralysis episode. It's terrifying. Mines in the form of a dark silhouette man with red glowy eyes. He sometimes chills in the doorway or he stands over me while I sleep. We hate it.

Mine is the veiled lady but she just sits on my bed or stands in my doorway and is like… about to look at me and I get this feeling that I’ll die if she actually looks at me. Mine is about that time as well. I know those hours are always considered the haunting hours, but there has to be something about the phase of sleep we tend to be in around that time that is perfect for sleep paralysis. I’m actually really interested in this connection! I have dealt with manic episodes, and I get really sleep deprived during that time without realizing it, and I know that your brain can play tricks on you when you’re tired. Obviously not a doctor! But I wonder if it would help that caller to see a sleep specialist? It helped me a lot. My sleep paralysis demon hasn’t showed up since tbh

oh my goooddddd i'm schizoaffective and also have ocd and my hallucinations don't get too scary, and the ones that do get scary are usually auditory, but my ocd makes me obsess over the idea that basically I'm gonna see some sort of supernatural being and it just becomes a cycle because I get terrified from there that I think about it so much at night/in the dark that I'm gonna manifest a hallucination about it and scare myself to death, so that one caller.... my worst nightmare 😭😭 I don't even let myself watch supernatural/horror movies because of it lmao and stuff like this + Ghost Files (like the only supernatural content I watch anymore) I usually only watch when it's daytime

I love Miles' story about his dad comforting him about his darkness fear. When I was scared of the dark at 6 years old, my Balkan dad said to me "why you scared?" And I said "because I won't see robbers if they come" and he LEGIT SAID TO A 6 YR OLD "but if you have a light on they can see you too". I asked him to turn the light off and now I don't like going outside.

I love spooky stories so much reading some of these and the ones in the episode are great I have a darker serious event that isn’t super spooky but is a coincidence I find very unsettling: One night as a joke I wrote and sent my friend a lovecraft-style poem that basically you could tell that the character was either killing themself or getting taken by some being or something(it was dumb) But roughly 8 hours later that friend learned that a close friend had just committed suicide. It makes me feel uncomfortable thinking back on it.

I actually have a story about seeing someone crawling into my room as a kid. I was laying in bed watching a movie and saw movement from the doorway, so I looked over and saw the shadow of a man on his hands and knees crawling into the room. My dad would often crawl in and scare us, so I didn't think anything of it until he opened his bedroom door across the hall and there was no one there. I have a ton more stories from this house, but that was the creepiest thing that ever happened.

The sleepwalking son - when I was a little kid I would sleepwalk if I had red dye, like snow cones and popsicles. I once walked all the way to the street! After my parents stopped giving me red dye I didn’t sleep walk again. 🤷‍♀️
