According to the book Boundless Realm, The "stian" on the chair is indeed a speaker placement. It was for madam Leota and the intent was as you entered the room you'd hear Her voice coming from the chair and assume she was sitting in it but then no one would be there.

Hey all, hope you enjoyed this special Spooky Yesterworld Episode! I wanted to address a few things I keep seeing pop up in the comments: For some reason I kept saying Universal Studios “Tokyo” instead of Japan…Guess I had Tokyo Disneyland on the brain when writing / recording, but I am aware that it's not actually located in Tokyo. The episode ends abruptly because at quite literally the last minute, I decided to swap the last 2 segments and forgot to extend the image/audio & include the outro voiceover. But rest assured that’s where the episode ends, it's just awkward timing... As much as I'd like to keep up the whole "Mysterious Haunted Mansion Chair" charade, the true explanation (or at least what's the likely explanation) was brought to my attention by user Cole Walker: "The “stain” on the chair is actually a speaker for the raven back when it was originally supposed to have dialogue but scrapped at the last minute." Assuming this is true, just replace "spooky mystery stain" with "abandoned effect" and the segment still works perfectly :) But that doesn't explain the "demon shaped" floral pattern that appears in the photograph from 2002, and then seemingly disappeared.... Ironically, I was originally going to talk about the mysterious "mirror" that's also possibly an abandoned effect just before it in the Door Hallway. So in hindsight, they would've tied together perfectly in hindsight....there's also abandoned speakers in the Endless Hallway as I covered in a previous episode.

So the Carnage attraction that (supposedly) depicts bloody, dead heroes in a horror-themed "what if" scenario is no good and then several years later, Marvel would run an entire alternate continuity of comics that depicts their heroes as gory, flesh-hungry zombies. Go figure.

The Aviator isn't the only ghost at USH. I've worked in the park for 14 years. My first job was at Back to the Future when I was 19. In training we were told that a little girl had died on the ride. Back to the Future was her favorite ride and she was there celebrating her 12th birthday. When they sent the car up she was fine, but when they brought it back down she was dead. A massive aneurysm. They did a full paranormal investigation in the building and they have photos that supposedly show orbs. I will say that being in that building all alone with no noise or music is creepy. You never really feel like you're alone. I have no idea if she is still there now that it's the Simpsons.

I’m not sure about the seance room, but I have a fun story about Haunted Mansion backstage. I did the Disney College Program in ‘16 and got to take a backstage tour of Haunted Mansion. In the ballroom scene, there’s a real chair from the 1800s that was designed to be used on dates. One side of the chair was comfortable, which the girl would sit on. The other side felt like it was made out of plywood. It was made to make the girl’s date feel uncomfortable, while the girl’s parents probably grilled him. Lol. I got to sit in both sides - the “boy” side is definitely uncomfortable.

@@GlutzahnLP Well, most of the instances were I explained why I hated it for being a depressing ending that, at least for me, ruined the series (Black Widow being made to kill herself out of self-loathing instead of being a heroic badass who would continue the Avengers' legacy, because she had no family or "acceptable" relationships, the implication in the time jump that Thanos' actions, which were genocidal, were justified, which has been confirmed by the Russo Brothers in interviews, the refusal to acknowledge that Hawkeye's severe psychological trauma and previous actions as a serial killer would do harm to his family's well-being, overlooking how Tony was selfish to the end by putting his daughter (who, given her age, Pepper was probably already pregnant with at the time of Infinity War) above all of the countless people who suffered terribly because of the snap occurring (when they could have pulled a Days of Future Past and prevented it from happening, even if it created a split timeline), screwing over the Guardians of the Galaxy by having them burdened with depressed angst over the Gamora that they knew being dead, forcing a happy ending for Cap that he didn't deserve (since he was in agreement with Tony that they didn't have to bring everyone back), and abandoning the idea that The Avengers is supposed to be an ever-lasting organization to defend Earth against future threats, which Age of Ultron's ending indicated, even if most of its initial members are no longer part of it) ending with me being shouted down by fanboys for being an idiotic buzzkill who wanted a "cliched" ending (even though the whole damn point of mainstream heroic story arcs is to serve as escapist fantasy that inspires hope and the belief that evil can be defeated, not a nihilistic mindset that most people are expendable and don't matter)! Now, don't get me wrong, a Halloween attraction like that would be fine, because it would be non-canonical and not meant to be taken seriously!

@@DocZFlux black widow was seen as an aunt by Clints Kids, so she had a "family" also the avengers were her "family" too. Also I dont think it was in Caps Character to go back in time to Peggy, he saw her die and had a new friends and family in the avengers also I think he would not let Bucky behind again and would really care for Tonys Daughter. Then were did he get a shield for falcon? Did he just take it from his other self? Were was he when Peggy died? Would he really not try to change the future (like stopping Quill from interupting)? Also they have already created a (hopefully good) parallel earth by destorying the past thanos and his troops, so how can he sit on the bench? (bruce said if does not put back the stones in the exact right spots he will create dark universes). For Tony Im pretty sure he would use the stones to give him a back door (if you read ffs most authors explain it with extremis). Your points are also good and valid (except for cap not deserving his happy ending, which he in my Opinion not even got). For me its like with Mass effect, great series bad ending, which I will fix in my head canon xD

On the Seance book deal, I'm not so sure that it and the candle were moving as a result of a castmember cleaning around them. As it is a haunted house where dust and cobwebs are expected, cleaning crews are told NOT to clean those areas. When Tower of Terror was first built in Disney Studios, a cleaning crew came in and cleaned out all of the cobwebs that were intentionally placed in the hotel's lobby. The production staff had to then go back in and re-place all the cowbebs. So the seance book and candle might have moved for 'other' reasons...

The spare carnotaurus head is something i always look for. I was once stuck on dinosaur at the iguanodon just before the end, we were sat in the dark for a while (after hearing our audio go through to "you're not gonna make it", meant we finished the ride without audio till we got back to present day which was odd) while the vehicles were still fake rumbling they eventually turned the lights on after about 10 mins less than a minute later i heard a scream from the vehicle behind followed by "why would they put that there" I can only assume they saw the spare head. I was hoping for an evac but about 20 mins after first stopping the lights went back out and we finished but at least i got the screaming story out of it.

I have wondered about the dinosaur head at the end for years!! I started noticing it once I moved here a couple of years ago, it's pretty easy if you don't allow the misdirection of the picture finale. For a while, the running dino earlier on was majorly broken and I had noticed the secret finale head was gone while a static replacement for the runner was made. Just a temporary fix, but it explained it. I'm also terrified of robots hiding in the dark, so I was beyond excited it got a mention. Thanks!!

Dragonworld (1994) has always terrified me because it was an animatronic lifelike creature. I did get startled when watching the moive for the first time. However, it took me 24 years to get over it, until it finally subsided. However, what I'm still scared of is entering into the darkness ina n unknown location, animatronic statues not moving or operating at all, or submechanophobia, the fear of man made objects underwater. As for this one, I use to not like loud sounds so I would cover my ears throughout the entire ride, and really didn't like it too much. I avoided it becasue I was too scared of dark rides, thinking they were roller coasters, when in reality they weren't.
