I really wish the ghost inside was back supported and not with a dangling plastic piece that sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm so confused why they did that.

I really kinda dig this one, great review of it, Doug. I just wish they hadn't had the plastic piece holding the ghosts up. Seems they could have found a way without the obvious support. But if our Michaels still has one I'll grab it (already got my Living End there a few days ago).

I just ordered this one yesterday and can't wait to receive it! My wife and I love watching horror movies together so this one is perfect for us.

I think they hit it out of the park with this one. I'm a vintage horror movie buff, and this will be in my home theater year round. Even down to the glowing posters on the side, the details are so fun and well thought out. I don't mind the ghost plastic pieces, I think it gives it that B movie vibe.

Great video! I use the Macbre Theater from the Dickens Village, Dept 56 in my village. It’s very understated but works in a creepy scene.

I love this piece too - the lighting is amazing. The small movie posters are a great touch and love how they are backlit.

I just did a review of the Spooky Town pieces too, and this was hand’s down our favorite as well. So charming and nostalgic🎃🖤🎃 we are gonna keep it out all year in our family movie room. Love your reviews!

Love this piece. I work in the film industry and my fascination with movies spans for as long as I have memories, especially horror. A good friend sent this to me and I've currently got it on my desk just as a display piece. It works really well even as a standalone and is probably my favorite of the very few theaters that have been released. Lemax really knocked it out of the park with this one. 👻📽

I purchased this one the first day I saw it in stores. They had a couple of them, I went to the movies & then came back & they were gone 😅 the associate had to get one from the top shelf & a week later they were all gone from my Michael’s. This one is my favorite from the whole collection! This one definitely works alone or in a village. I love it so much 🥹 it’s so nostalgic & comforting to look at haha I’m glad this one doesn’t have a soundtrack or any mechanisms. I think that would’ve taken away from it & I wouldn’t want the mechanisms to make noise on this when it’s muted. I think this one is perfect 👻 I would like a couple other pieces but I need a better sale haha

This was my go to piece of the year. I stalked Michael’s till I saw it out and made the purchase. That along with the cemetery I’ll be setting up a MJ Thriller town. Thanks Doug for all you do 💀

I’m an old thespian and while I love the Mortis Theater, this one looks almost like the one I used to do plays at. 😊 I was happy to grab it.

There really isn't a bad choice for theaters. I think they should have mounted the ghosts from the back. That would have hid the plastic strip from view. Otherwise, a beautiful building.

This is the first lemax I have bought in many years. I just love how it looks all lit up. I also actually like that it’s smaller and has no sounds or animations because sometimes those animations can be noisy when they move. The only thing I didn’t like is how the ghosts were held up. Surely there was a better way.

This looks so cool! I don't collect but I saw this on sale for less than 100 CAD and it was seriously tempting but, sadly, before I could make up my mind it sold out. Hopefully I'll have another opportunity to get one in the future!

Really great looking piece. I’m glad they didn’t ruin it with a talking soundtrack, although it would be good with spooky movie sounds and movie music and screaming like LaGhosti Theater which has a great soundtrack. I love the colors and lights on this piece.

This may be my new favorite piece for so many reasons. Dept 56 does have Look Who's Talking Now Theatre #4051010. It’s more of a broadway stage than a movie theater but fits in the line.

I love this, I decided to get it now with an extra 10% off. They are selling out of this, only one store has more than 4 in stock..By the time August rolls around they will all be gone.

Hey, you mentioned that this piece is a michaels exclusive and could be in the stores next year. That means that there is a chance to see the fright night cinema in official lemax partner stores outside of the US in the next year? Some stores in germany sell now (2024) some michaels exclusives from last year, so i have hope to get the cinema next year.

Doug, I don't know if I'd call this one of the greats, but it is a great piece. I own the Mortis Theater (my first EVER Lemax piece) and I always wondered what Lemax might do if they ever released another theater. I had grand visions of something that would top all the rest, but an air of disappointment set in when I finally saw the Fright Night Cinema. Again, don't get me wrong, I really like this piece, but I guess I just expected something more. I think this piece deserved some animated parts. Like the Blob could've used the brain mechanism from last year's Mystery Meat Canning Co. A popcorn machine out front with blowing green popcorn. A slushy machine inside with blood red bubble action. A zoetrope type projection system flashing something animated on the inside screen. So many possibilities. In then end, I'm glad I got Fright Night Cinema. Not quite a Mortis or Laghosti, but very cool in its own right :) vgv

I do love this piece, but the price point is really high considering there's no animation, no soundtrack or anything. Just seems like it should have been less expensive. I have it and I really like it, I might do a spooky Broadway street in the future with my La Ghosti

Amazing building BUT... huge issues. I had to return two of them at Michaels for lighting issues. After bringing back the second, Michael's manager said they likely won't be carrying spooky town next year with how many returns they get. First theater, half the sign lit up. Second, half the lights wouldn't light. Lemax NEEDS to have people test these products before shipping. Their quality control is honestly getting exhausting. I'm at the point now where I'm almost done buying new buildings.

We bought this one, but ended up exchanging it for another one. I'm picky. The plastic piece holding the top ghost had white paint on it and I just couldn't get past it. 😂

A couple of years ago I got the raven manor, got it home and the ghost spinning around the center only had one eye painted 😭 Returned it as well and didn't replace it.

I got the Facade when it came in stock on July 3rd online for 20% off. Today, they’re still running the 20% off online. Before they became available where I live, Micheal’s was showing a 40% off code on their site…online only. Yet, they stated “coming soon” with the 40% off code. As soon as they became available, they said my 40% off code was invalid. *I did try to purchase it with the 40% off before they were available online. But, there was no “buy now” button. I consider that false advertising. I’m wondering if anyone was able to use that 40% off with code (online only)??
